Story
Kijani is our first pet as a family (of 5). We acquired him from my wife's friends, whose two pit bulls had puppies. We got Kijani at 8 weeks, and he is now 1 year and 3 months old. Kijani's name means green in Swahili, and he was named that by my daughter. The puppies all had different-colored collars, and his collar was green. We have loved and cared for him and still do. He is house-trained and knows some commands like sit, come, lay, down, and paw. He does still need more training. We have come to be extremely busy with the kids, school and our schedules as parents, working, community activities and church. I was recently laid off, adding financial hardship to the mix. Kijani is calm, fun-loving, excitable, and playful. He loves people but wants to jump on them and lick them a lot (needs work on that). He is really chill and rarely barks. When playing, he will be a little mouthy, but we say "be nice," and he usually stops and licks us. We want to find good folks to love him.
