Story
Bentley is a super sweet dog that loves playing and cuddling. I got him from KC Pet Project when I was home all the time and wanted a walking partner and someone to hang out with around the house. He's proven to be all those things. Unfortunately, my job is now requiring me to travel 90% of the time and kenneling on a weekly basis is not something that is workable.I recently used KC Dawgz in Overland Park to get him trained and he did fantastic. Now has many transferrable skills. I also have reinforcement training sessions available to work on the learned skills with the trainer for transitioning as easy as possible. He loves to be very active and is trustworthy. I leave him out around the house during the day when I'm home and never have any issues. He's easy to walk and take to parks as he likes to be near me doesn't run away.

Story
We have to care for an elderly relative and can't spend the time with Mickey she deserves. It’s incredibly hard for me to say that I need to find a new home for Mickey, a 9‑year‑old Terrier–Pit Bull mix who has become such a part of my life. She’s a 43‑lb sweetheart with a calm, gentle, “go with the flow” personality that makes every day feel a little softer. Mickey rarely barks, is wonderfully quiet, and thrives in a peaceful environment. She enjoys traveling in the car. She’s good with cats, relaxed around larger dogs, and truly shines in a household where she can settle in with just a few people and show her loving nature.Mickey deserves a forever home where she can feel at ease. She's well-behaved, she isn't a "chewer," knows basic commands, and is fully vaccinated and spayed. Whoever welcomes her will gain a tender, loyal companion who ask only to be a part of the pack. If you are looking for a quiet, affectionate dog, Mickey is a gift.

Story
Note that my trainer is enthusiastically willing to work with her next human, and I will pay for her first handful of lessons. She has great rapport with Pippa.I rescued Pippa in Oct 2024 at about 11 months old.She is a reactive dog, which means she reacts to stimuli much more than a "normal" dog would. She can get herself super worked up, but she can also be a very sweet and cuddly dog.I got her when I was able to work closely with an extremely good trainer that helped her with obedience training. She knows and listens to commands like sit, down, heel, middle, place, and touch. She is extremely athletic and trainable.I now have a stepdaughter, and she isn't a good fit anymore for our family. My stepdaughter is eight-years-old, and Pippa sees her more of a plaything than a person to obey. In excitement and wanting to play, she has nipped at my stepdaughter a few times. She hasn't been aggressive, just playing in the wrong way.She loves to play with certain dogs in the right situation.
