Meet Ella!
Ella is the total package: sweet, smart, affectionate, and always ready to be part of whatever her people are doing. At nearly 2 years old and under 50 pounds, this beautiful fawn-colored girl has left her difficult early days behind and is ready to find the forever family she deserves.
One of Ella's favorite things in the world is simply being included. Whether you're working around the house, relaxing on the couch, or heading out to the backyard, she'll happily tag along as your loyal sidekick. When it's time to settle down, she'll often grab one of her toys and curl up nearby, content to entertain herself while staying close to her favorite humans.
Ella is wonderfully social and loves people of all ages. She's especially fond of children, though her enthusiasm can sometimes get the better of her during introductions. Her excitement comes from a place of pure joy—she just thinks everyone should be her friend!
She also does well with cats and enjoys the company of other dogs. Because she missed out on some important socialization early in life, her play style can be a little enthusiastic at times. She's happiest with playful, tolerant dogs who enjoy an active playmate and can appreciate her energetic approach to making friends.
This girl is smart, adaptable, and eager to please. She walks nicely, settles well in the house, isn't much of a barker, and has proven herself to be a charming companion. She loves toys, enjoys a good game of fetch, and would be thrilled to have a securely fenced yard where she can run, play, and explore safely.
Ella has come a long way thanks to the dedication of her foster family, who describe her as a true sweetheart and admit that if circumstances were different, they would gladly keep her themselves. That's probably one of the highest compliments a foster dog can receive.
If you're looking for a loving companion who wants nothing more than to be part of the family, Ella may be the perfect addition to your home. She has a big heart, a playful spirit, and so much love left to give. 🐾
