Due to her background, Diamond is still learning to trust, so she’ll need a patient home without cats or kids and very slow introductions to other dogs. Goro is a 7-year-old Boxer/Pit mix who came to us after his owner of a short time was forced to move. Before that, Goro lost his previous owner due to housing instability. None of this was his fault—yet he’s had to say goodbye to the people he loved most. While we don’t know every detail of his past, it’s clear Goro has lived in a home before and knows exactly how to be a wonderful companion. ♥️ What Goro is like: • Loves his walks and short runs, but is happiest once it’s time to relax with his people • Goro LOVES to play fetch and will play as many times as your arm can tolerate. He knows how to bring the ball back and drop it! • A true cuddle bug who wants to be close — lap sitting, blanket burrowing, and nap time are his specialties • Calm, easygoing, and very content just being near his people 🏡 House Manners: • Fully house trained • Kennel trained • Quiet and well-mannered (rarely vocal unless startled by fireworks or barking dogs) • No accidents, no destruction, no trouble • Loves to play with toys and bones and happily shares them with his humans! With people: • Great with kids and adults • Friendly with everyone he meets • May bark briefly when someone enters the room, but his wagging tail quickly gives him away — he’s just asking for pets With other animals: • Goro is not a fan of the kitties! • Goro can be dog selective.
