Meet Florence 💛
5 months old | medium sized cutie, ~17 lbs now estimated ~30 lbs full grown
Florence is the kind of puppy people dream about — playful, snuggly, and just the right size to fit perfectly into your life.
She’s a happy, social little thing who loves to play. Whether it’s zooming around with her foster dog siblings, carrying toys from room to room, or trying to convince you it’s time for fetch again… she’s always ready for fun. And when she’s done? She’s all about the cuddles — this girl will happily curl up with you under a blanket and call it a perfect day.
Florence is amazing with other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine sibling. She reads other dogs well, takes corrections like a pro, and adjusts her puppy antics quickly. She also adores kids — she’s gentle, tolerant, and happy to be part of whatever chaos they’ve got going on (walks, playtime, or being carried around like the baby she is 🥹). We think Florence would do best in a home with either another dog or kids or both!
She’s still learning the basics, but she’s already off to a great start. She’s doing really well with potty training (even holding it overnight!), sits politely for treats, and is eager to learn. Like any puppy, she’ll need continued guidance with things like jumping and puppy nipping — but she’s smart and very food motivated.
She LOVES toys (seriously… all of them). You’ll often find her surrounded by her collection, chewing happily until she falls asleep mid-play.
She rides well in the car, is a little shy at first but warms up quickly (especially if snacks are involved), and hasn’t shown any signs of resource guarding. She hasn’t met cats yet, but she hasn’t shown prey drive and may do well with proper introductions.
Florence is a social, people-loving puppy who would not do well being alone for long stretches of time like a full work day. She would prefer an active family where she can be involved in the fun!
When left alone, Florence has done a great job free roaming her foster home. Florence can spend time in a kennel with things available to occupy her- like a meal or a frozen Kong - but she’s much more keen on being able to view out a window and relax outside the kennel if able.
She’s truly the full package — the kind of dog your kids grow up with, your built-in adventure buddy, and your couch companion all in one.
She’s going to make some family really lucky.
