Story
Dolce is a total doll and such a love bug. She's not even two years old, weighs about 40 pounds, and adores cuddling under blankets. She can't get enough of her orange ball, which she chews like gum. Tug of war is a whole lot of fun, too. And water? Oh, yes, please! Dolce looooves water. She might even be part duck! This girl has had a rough life and will need a patient human willing to give her some time and space to settle into her new home. Dolce would prefer a home without little kids because she thinks they are kind of scary. Please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you're interested in learning more about this lovely pup! Dolce is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She's eligible for a no- cost adoption with an encouraged donation to The Pet Connection. She's in the Kansas City metro, but we will transport her to the right home.

Story
About Me: I’m a shy sweetheart with a gentle soul, but once I feel safe, my playful side comes alive—especially during my world-class zoomies! I love walks, snuggling, and making furry friends along the way. Treats are my love language, and I work hard to earn them. Looking For: A patient, loving family who will help me build confidence, cheer on my antics, and let me be my wiggly, wonderful self. Fun Fact: When I finally zoom, there’s no stopping me… but I always come back for cuddles.

Story
Hidey ho, my human friends! I'm Cress, a 2-year-old pittie mix looking for my purpose in life. Oh, and a home, I'm also looking for a home. More specifically, I'm looking for an active home that will give me a job to do. Not like a paying job, mind you! I'm thinking more along the lines of a volunteer job. For example, want to fetch balls? I'm your girl! Want to play frisbee? That's me! How about running? I'm down with that! Want to play hide and seek with treats? I'm all in! You see, I have high energy and drive and need mental and physical exercise to keep me healthy and happy. Once I'm done with my "job" I settle in for some love and affection. I'm a really good student if you give me consistent training. I already know "sit" and am a good treat taker. As a bonus, I seem to like other dogs, with the proper introduction. (You just can't rush finding the right friends -- am I right?) Think we might be a good match? Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information and to set up a meeting with me! Please contact The Pet Connection if you can foster, adopt, or sponsor a special needs dog or cat. 913-671-7387 Text. Www.thepetconnection.net.
