Story
Meet Venus – The Brightest Star in the Sky, Looking for Her Orbit Venus is a young, radiant pup whose love burns as bright as her name suggests. With legs built for zoomies and a heart made for cuddles, she’s a silly, snuggly, and sweet soul still learning the ropes of this world—but she’s already lighting up every room she enters. Found as a puppy and now thriving in foster care, Venus is dog-friendly and plays beautifully with pups who match her intergalactic energy. She’s curious about cats and may give them a playful chase, but it’s all in good fun. At night, she tucks herself into her crate like a sleepy star and sleeps soundly through to morning. She walks well on a leash—especially with a harness to help her remember she’s not a rocket ship—and she’s incredibly smart and food motivated. Redirection comes easy when there’s a treat in sight. Like any young explorer, Venus is still working on a few things. She’s learning to be fully potty trained, to keep her paws off the counter, and to feel secure when new people enter her orbit—especially when she’s snuggled close to her person. Thanks to a steady routine and a bit of anxiety support, she’s already making amazing progress. Venus would thrive in a calmer home, ideally with a confident canine companion to guide her and a human who’s ready for the joy (and occasional chaos) that comes with a young dog still learning to navigate the galaxy. Venus has the charm, the brains, and the love—you just have to be her landing spot. Could you be the one to help her shine? Apply today to foster or adopt Venus and give this rising star the forever she deserves. Adoption is $325, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home. Story
Meet Manny Manny’s journey hasn’t been easy, but through it all, he’s kept his huge heart wide open. At just about a year and a half old, this sweet, goofy boy has already captured the hearts of everyone who’s met him. He was recently in a foster-to-adopt home, but through no fault of his own, it didn’t work out. Now Manny is once again searching for the family who will love him for life. Manny is a dog who simply adores people. He’s wonderful with kids, affectionate with everyone he meets, and gets along beautifully with other dogs—making him the perfect fit for a multi-dog household. His days are happiest when they include a walk, some playtime, and then snuggles on the couch with his favorite humans. If you’re lucky, you’ll get one of his signature hugs—Manny has a way of standing on his hind legs and wrapping his paws around you like he never wants to let go. He’s still polishing up his potty training and learning the ropes of home life, but Manny is a quick study and eager to please. His favorite things in the world include squeaky toys, soft stuffies, and soaking up every ounce of affection he can get. After a life of being starved for love, he’s overflowing with gratitude and joy at the chance to be part of a family. Manny is active, playful, and affectionate—a dog who will thrive with a family that can give him the structure, patience, and love he deserves. In return, he’ll give you his whole heart, day after day. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, keep you moving, and curl up next to you at the end of the day, Manny is waiting to meet you. He’s ready to be someone’s “little man”—could that someone be you? Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home. Story
Meet Harper — a survivor with a heart full of hope and a second chance at life. Just last week, one of our adopters spotted her tangled in a fence, choking and terrified. They jumped into action, freeing her in the nick of time. Inside the home, they found her elderly owner — a kind man who loved her deeply but could no longer provide the care she needed. Thanks to his selflessness and her rescuer’s bravery, Harper is safe — and now she’s ready for a home filled with love and security. Harper is about a year old, curious, and bursting with personality. She’s learning fast — mastering potty training, sleeping quietly in her crate, and adjusting to the comforts of indoor life. She’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest near her people, especially kids. She loves her toys, enjoys exploring outside, and will army crawl right into your lap for love. About Harper: - 1 year old, full of energy and heart - Food-motivated and quick to learn - Potty trained and crate trained - Great with kids and affectionate with her people - Calm indoors, curious outdoors - Dog-friendly with proper introductions Harper has survived the unthinkable and still greets every day with love. She’s ready for a foster-to-adopt or forever home that will give her patience, consistency, and the safety she’s always deserved. She’s learning what it means to be loved — could you be the one to show her? Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
