Meet Venus – The Brightest Star in the Sky, Looking for Her Orbit
Venus is a young, radiant pup whose love burns as bright as her name suggests. With legs built for zoomies and a heart made for cuddles, she’s a silly, snuggly, and sweet soul still learning the ropes of this world—but she’s already lighting up every room she enters.
Found as a puppy and now thriving in foster care, Venus is dog-friendly and plays beautifully with pups who match her intergalactic energy. She’s curious about cats and may give them a playful chase, but it’s all in good fun. At night, she tucks herself into her crate like a sleepy star and sleeps soundly through to morning.
She walks well on a leash—especially with a harness to help her remember she’s not a rocket ship—and she’s incredibly smart and food motivated. Redirection comes easy when there’s a treat in sight.
Like any young explorer, Venus is still working on a few things. She’s learning to be fully potty trained, to keep her paws off the counter, and to feel secure when new people enter her orbit—especially when she’s snuggled close to her person. Thanks to a steady routine and a bit of anxiety support, she’s already making amazing progress.
Venus would thrive in a calmer home, ideally with a confident canine companion to guide her and a human who’s ready for the joy (and occasional chaos) that comes with a young dog still learning to navigate the galaxy.

Adoption is $325, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
