Meet Gwen — Your Soon-to-Be Holiday Sidekick! Gwen is a 2–3-year-old, 48-pound bundle of sweetness, silliness, and “please admire me” energy. She’s fully vaccinated and fully convinced she’s the star of whatever room she walks into. She LOVES people, puzzle toys, and going on walks where she can pretend she’s on an adventure documentary. She hasn’t met kids or cats yet, but she’s totally open to interviews. As for other dogs, she’s been practicing her social skills and has been crushing it—she may even enjoy having a dog buddy to swap gossip with. Gwen would love a family who’s into fun, fresh air, and maybe a goofy cuddle session or two. She’s hoping to land a forever home just in time for the holidays, she will even help you decorate. Meet Dylan — the Bow-Legged Beauty! Dylan is a 2–3-year-old, 40-pound sweetheart who’s equal parts adorable and hilarious. She’s a petite little lady with the cutest bow legs you’ve ever seen—seriously, she could win awards for “Best Strut.” Dylan is wonderfully sweet, walks like a dream on a leash, and has recently completed a full photo shoot, so yes… she’s basically a supermodel now. Her puppy-dog eyes are legendary and have been known to melt hearts in under three seconds. She LOVES to play and is always up for fun, but she’s also the perfect size for curling up on your lap like she was personally designed for it. She’s still a bit unsure about other dogs, but she’s working on her confidence and making good progress. Dylan is available for adoption or foster, and she’s ready to charm her way right into someone’s life. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, perfectly pocket-sized companion, Dylan is your girl!

Story
Carrots is an owner give up to our rescue. Below is the information her owner gave us initially. I have had Carrots for almost two years now. She has been the most amazing friend I could have asked for. She rarely barks and only lets out an occasional whine if she needs to go out or is wanting some attention. She’s a well behaved for a dog that lives her life with me in a small dorm and can only go out to play fetch or go for a walk when I’m not at class or work. She needs better. In general, she has been amazing for the hand she’s been dealt. I actually couldn’t be more grateful for how well she’s treated me as she’s grown to be near a full two years old!! I am having to part with her because she is still a puppy, and I’m a Junior in college struggling to work and commute on weekends when I have to, and give her the attention she deserves. She’s trained well. She sits on command, she can stay if you ask, she’s house trained, and she’s comfortable with her kennel if needed. She uses a harness for walks and does great. She was trained to walk on the left of you and she’s usually pretty good about staying focused. She has started the process of being an ESA certified dog but has not rec'd her second certification. Her previous owner said that she was around a child once and growled so we do not recommend her with small children. She has never been around cats so we cannot say whether she will or will not be okay arounds feline friends. She would make a great family member for an active family. If you would like to add Carrots to your home, please message us and we will send you an application. Carrots is being fostered in MS but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal friendly transport on the road! The adoption fee includes her medical for a health certificate and transport to you. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
