**All dogs are by appointment only, please inquire through Petfinder, Adopt-a-pet, Rescueme.org or e-mail us directly at shelter@hbpets.org for the dogs questionnaire*** Some dogs are just so cool they need multiple names, meet Mr. Jetty Jet Jetterson, he is approx 18mths to 2yrs old, neutered male, Pit Mix. Jetty arrived as an underweight scared stray. He won our hearts immediately, he is sweet, loves humans, he likes car rides and playing, he also loves to help to help and is not scared of drill noises or hammering, he would make a perfect shop buddy. He is currently learning to walk on a leash, he knows sit, stay, leave-it and shake. We don't have cat or young children history for this guy and no way to test, he has done well with the other dogs next to him and will start play dates next week after he has healed from his neuter. He would love an active home, hiking, traveling, basically being with his humans, he is also fine just hanging out. Jetty is an amazing dog who deserves a 2nd chance, will you be that person? My adoption fee is $200

Diamond was found by a wonderful person, who thought he had been hit by a car, she took him to a vet clinic, where the owner later surrendered. Diamond spent sometime with one of the clinics vet techs, while he healed, no broken bones, but he needed a quiet place to recover, he was around dogs at her home. Diamond is a big boy, he loves cuddles, he is learning to walk on a leash, learning basic commands (thank you to his foster mom, for getting him started), he is eager to please, loves treats and toys. He loves having a backyard, his own bed and thrives on routine. He would make a great traveling buddy, movie buddy, camping buddy and family dog for kids over 12yrs. My adoption fee is $200

Story
Our short stack muscle man. A wish for Bandido. Bandido is estimated to be 4 years old and was saved after an extension from euthanasia. Bandido was experiencing kennel stress so he was immediately red-marked. This teddy bear love boy just needs a chance. He’s a people lover and does great with easy going female dogs. He loves kids and treats. Bandido has been in rescue care for nearly 2 months now and has not had a single foster or adopt offer. His one “set back” is he can not be in a home with a cat. He would chase a cat. But aside from that he’s a great companion. He is kennel trained but prefers to be where the humans are, he is HIGHLY trainable and treat motivated/food motivated. Our wish for Bandido is a home to call his but at this point we’d love even a temporary one. Bandido is not high maintenance by any means, he is potty and kennel trained, eats 2x a day, respectful with toys and bedding and now that he has had solid decompression time has shown us how great of a guy he truly is. If you’re willing to foster or adopt Bandido please email us asap He has a clean bill of health and is neutered and vaccinated.
