If Pittsburgh had a dating show for dogs, Jack would win it in the first episode. This 2‑year‑old Great Pyrenees mix is handsome, charming, and fully ready for commitment. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots, which in the dog world basically makes him the equivalent of “emotionally available with a stable job.” Jack is friendly with dogs, cats, and kids, but let’s be honest — he has a soft spot for the ladies. Girly dogs, prepare yourselves. He will flirt. He will prance. He will give you that slow, dramatic head tilt that says, “Hey girl… you come here often?” Despite his romantic side, Jack is a gentleman through and through. He’s sweet, social, and just wants a family who will adore him as much as he’ll adore them. Jack is looking for his forever home in the Pittsburgh area, and he’ll need a securely fenced yard so he can safely strut his stuff, patrol for squirrels, and practice his “windswept fur” look. Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! "Hermes is such a beautiful pup and I’m so glad I met him today. I walked by him a few times, he caught my eye, so I had to take him out. He was easy to leash, walked great with no pulling, and was friendly to all the dogs in the kennels. When we got to the outside run, he was so excited to be off leash and play with the neighbor pups. He ran along the fence line on both sides trying to initiate play. When the other dogs got tired, I jumped around with him for a bit and he was so gentle with me. He’s very attentive, well behaved, and smart - he knows sit and come! He loved to be pet and would probably cuddle with me outside all day if he could.”

I knew she was in a home before just by how nonchalant she is. She’s a 100/100. I did the little test to see how aware she was and I was so amazed how attentive she is. She knows how to sit and give paw on command and even does a little wave that took my heart. Every time I’d see her she’d be laying on her bed cot, just the sweetest girl ever. Can’t get enough of her. Penny is very playful and happy with ALL dogs. She’s ready to go play when meeting dogs and is just a bundle of joy. Penny is young, smart, dog-friendly, and just needs a soft place to land so she can get her second chance."
