Colt is ready to gallop straight into your heart. This smart and loving 7-year-old German Shepherd is ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a dog who already has great manners and just wants to be part of your life, Colt is your guy. This handsome boy did great in his foster home. He is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and has good manners. He's respectful of household items and is perfectly content relaxing at home—but fair warning: if your trash can doesn’t have a lid, Colt might consider it fair game! He's also part velocraptor when it comes to treats, so hand-feeding is not recommended. Colt is incredibly smart (as you’d expect from a GSD) and loves playing fetch, going for walks, and being a couch companion. He's a great walking/hiking buddy but is also content to chill most of the day. He sleeps well through the night. He’s also a member of the clean plate club, mealtime is his favorite time! If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, low-drama companion, schedule to meet Colt.

Luke is a German Shepherd mix, about 10 months old and 52 lbs. Volunteer notes describe him as a sweet, submissive puppy who just wants to please. He did great meeting multiple dogs and would likely love having a confident dog sibling to help him continue building confidence. He can be a little shy with people at first, but warms up quickly with patience. This boy is young, gentle, and deserves a chance at a full life outside of the shelter.
