Story
Due to ongoing, difficult family circumstances, I must make the very difficult decision to surrender my 2 bigger dogs that are going on 3 years old. The dogs are super loving, good with kids, enjoy walks, and deserving of a better home than my family can provide. Ideally I’d find one home for both of them but I know that’s really difficult. I adopted them from this Humane Society in Silicon Valley when they were 8-9 weeks old This post is about Coco who is a mix of a lot of breeds but is the largest mix of Siberian Husky. She’s on the shy side at first but is super sweet and a snuggle bug. My other dog is Bingo who is a German Shepard mix and I've created a separate post for him. Both dogs can benefit from manners training. They are easily excitable and need proper exercise to avoid barking, jumping, etc.

Story
Jackson is a loving, energetic, husky, and Pomsky mix with the body size of a husky. He has one blue eye and one brown eye He is about 8 to 9 years old.. He is not socialized with other dogs, but could easily be trained because he’s very smart. He gets anxious, bathing, or with Veterinarian visit so we do give him relaxing medication to make him mellow and comfortable. He belonged to my father who passed away and due to housing limitations I am unable to keep him. He would make a great companion as he is very loving and protective.. I want to find him a good loving home.

Sky is a four year old spayed female with a wonderful personality. She loves to play and snuggle. She walks well on leash and LOVES long walks. If you know Huskies, you know they love to be active. She and her sonare bonded and we are looking for a home for them together. They play well together and that helps burn off a lot of their energy.  Huskies make wonderful family pets, but like most of the working breeds, they do best in specific circumstances. We are looking for adopters who have experience with Huskies or other high drive, highly intelligent breeds (for ex:  Doberman, GSD, Belgian Mal, Cattle Dog, etc)  Sky, and her son, Chimuelo were owned by a family who loved them, but who's circumstances changed to the point where they are not able to give them the attention and care they need.  Luckily for them, they are such wonderful dogs that two neighbors stepped up to supplement the attention the family was able to give. Over time everyone realized the dogs would do best with a single home that could give them what they needed - a place and people to call their own.  The neighbors, Craig and Susan, would each love to take them, but they each have cats, and the dogs are not safe with cats.  These dogs were raised in a family with kids and love them.  Sky in particular loves getting pets from the kids at the park! We are helping Craig and Susan find the right home for this wonderful pair.  (The original owners have surrendered the dogs to them.)  You can fill out an application for either of them and it will apply to both dogs. Chumuelo is a three year old neutered male with a wonderful personality. He is super friendly and loves to play with balls in particular.  He LOVES long walks. Juna is 10 months old. Her birthday is October 7, 2025. She loves to play with other dogs and also relax at home. She rarely barks and is perfect for someone looking for a quiet dog. Unfortunately, due to financial circumstances, we are unable to keep her as our pet. Juna has a lot of energy and she would be best fitting with someone active or has a house with a big yard so she can run around in.
