Story
Booboo is 5 yrs old and adopted at 9 months, fully house trained and very communicative when needing to go potty.- She is social yet introverted, she loves affection and play, but also just sniffing patches of grass on walks. She loves pets and lounging near you- she has attended the same doggy day care last 4 years and is loved by the staff and plays well with other dogs there. She was also easy to bring to work and says hi to everyone. She has stayed with a friend's family and played well with the young kids. Dog-selective outside of day care. Best as only pet or experienced owners-low maintenance, content with 3-4 walks and 1 day of dog daycare a week. She's content with that level of stimulation and lounges around the rest of the week.Care details: She usually uses sensitive/puppy soap. care needed to prevent getting her ear wet during baths to not have ear infection. She's accustomed to sleeping indoors, and should have covered kennel to wind down if sleeping outside

Story
Meet Princess, a very sweet and loving girl. She is smart and playful, likes to go on sniff walks, but she is also fine to relax on the couch with you. She does excellent with kids and wants to play with other animals. Currently in a home with two cats and does well with them (she tries to make them play but they want nothing to do with her). We adopted her from the shelter a few months ago, but then my work hours changed. I can tell she is a little restless and I cant give her the time she deserves. She is very intelligent and I think she's getting bored. Please help her out and give her a home where she is loved and appreciated and given the chance to truly thrive.

Story
Buddy is happiest when he’s with his people. He absolutely loves meeting new friends and is always ready to offer a hug, a kiss, or a game of fetch. He’s smart, affectionate, playful, and surprisingly good at settling down once he’s gotten his daily dose of fun. He’s also house trained, rides beautifully in the car, and knows sit, down, shake, high five, and more. Buddy enjoys walks, playing ball, chewing on his favorite toys, and generally keeping tabs on his humans. He does get very excited when he sees other dogs or cats while out and about, so he’ll need a home who can continue working on his leash manners and help him stay focused. He has successfully played with another dog in a home setting, so the right canine companion may be possible with a slow introduction. Buddy is a true people dog and needs to be part of the family, not left outside on his own. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily follow you around, check in for a few kisses throughout the day, and make you laugh with his goofy personality, Buddy would love to meet you. Buddy is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you would like to meet Buddy to see if he is a good fit for your family, please fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer your questions and schedule a meet.

Story
Kenji is an 85-pound German Shepherd with an athletic spirit and a serious love of having a job. He’s smart, playful, food and toy motivated, and would be an excellent partner for someone interested in activities like dock diving, Fast CAT (Coursing Ability Test), flyball, disc, hiking, or other adventures. He especially loves the water and long outings where he can put his energy to good use. Despite his big personality and high drive, Kenji is fairly independent and doesn’t need to be glued to your side. He knows basic obedience, is crate trained, house trained, and walks well with proper equipment. He does best with mellow dogs and can be selective with male dogs, while his high prey drive means he is not a fit for cats. Kenji is looking for an active, experienced home that understands working breeds and can give him the exercise, structure, and mental stimulation he needs to thrive. If you're looking for a smart, athletic adventure buddy with plenty of personality, Kenji is ready to get to work! Kenji is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you are interested to meet Kenji, please fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet.

Story
NINA IS IN BOARDING AND NEEDS A NEW FOSTER OR ADOPTER ASAP. Nina is a beautiful senior who needs a patient family that can give her the space and time she needs. Nina was saved from the shelter with minutes to spare from euthanasia and two days later had a litter of puppies no one knew about. Nina may resource guard her food but is an amazing walker on leash and non-reactive to dogs surrounding her. This sweet girl would love a quiet home that is just as chill as her. She enjoys toys, walks, and head pets. Nina does fine around other calm dogs but is not recommended to live with cats or younger children. Nina is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. If you're interested in meeting Nina please fill out an application and a BWR volunteer will reach out.
