Story
Casper is a very sweet boy. He's not an escape artist like a purebred husky and he is very low maintanence when it comes to food, being outside, etc. He is very high energy and LOVESS people. He grew up with 2 cats and they are his buds. The problem stems from his energy levels and us having a newborn. We pay a dog walker, have taken him to training, but his energy is level is just more than we can properly take care of. He isnt very interested in other dogs but has played and let friends dogs into our yard with no issues. He's friendly with our baby but gets very excited around her and my wife just isnt able to handle his needs and the babies when i go back work. He would make an amazing adventure buddy with a little more training. Im happy to fill anyone in in depth if at all interested. If we find a great home for him we'll happily transfer him for free. If not he's not in a bad spot or at risk of going to a shelter. We just feel a different lifestyle could be better for him

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Litter of 4 transferred from Furever Friends of Grant County in Kansas. No backstory was available on the litter at the time they were surrendered to the rescue. The puppies arrived in Colorado at 11 weeks of age. From the foster: Some puppies are full of chaos. Astin is full of calm. Astin is the kind of puppy that walks into your life and instantly feels like she’s always belonged there. With her gentle nature and easygoing personality, she takes every new experience in stride and never seems to have any complaints about what’s going on around her. Quiet, sweet, and a little reserved, Astin prefers to observe before she jumps in, making her a wonderful companion for families looking for a thoughtful and well-mannered pup. We never heard what her bark sounds like, even when she saw a moose! She has a peaceful presence that makes it easy to fall in love with her. She enjoys quiet time in her crate and will walk in on her own to take a nap when she feels tired. She sleeps contently through the night in her crate & loves a good stretch when she wakes up. Astin is already impressing everyone with her good manners. She arrived fully potty trained and is fantastic on a leash, making walks together a true pleasure. Whether she’s strolling through the neighborhood or simply staying close to her people, Astin is happiest when she’s by your side. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a calm spirit and an old-soul charm, Astin may be the perfect addition to your family. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

What we know: Litter of 4 transferred from Furever Friends of Grant County in Kansas. No backstory was available on the litter at the time they were surrendered to the rescue. The puppies arrived in Colorado at 11 weeks of age. From the foster: Cheyenne may have been the smallest female in her litter, but she has the biggest personality! This sweet and playful girl loves spending time with people and is wonderful with kids. Whether she’s exploring the outdoors, playing with her favorite toys, or engaging in a spirited game of tug-of-war, Cheyenne brings enthusiasm and joy to everything she does. Cheyenne is also incredibly smart and eager to learn. She has nearly mastered potty training and will even signal to let you know when she needs to go outside. At night, she sleeps soundly in her crate and is content settling in for a full night's rest. A true people-pleaser, Cheyenne thrives on positive reinforcement and especially loves earning treats for a job well done. She quickly learned simple commands like “sit” with just a little practice and is excited to continue learning new things. After a fun-filled day of play and adventure, Cheyenne’s favorite place is right beside her family, curled up on the couch for a cozy nap. Cheyenne would do best in an active home where she has plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and be part of the action. If you're looking for a loving, intelligent, and fun-loving companion, Cheyenne might just be the perfect addition to your family. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Litter of 8 (1 adult female, 7 puppies) arrived as an owner surrender from the Mesilla Valley Animal Services Center. All are up to date on vaccines. Puppies are not yet altered. Mama has not yet been spayed. From the foster: Meet Neo – the Neapolitan Scoop of Puppy Perfection! 🍨🐾 Named after everyone's favorite three-flavor classic, Neo (short for Neapolitan) has the best of everything wrapped into one adorable puppy. He's one part playful, one part chill, and one part goofy fun - the perfect combination for just about any family. While his siblings are busy announcing every adventure, Neo is the easygoing guy who simply shrugs and says, "Sounds good to me!" Whether it's playtime in the yard, meeting new friends (sometimes more shy), exploring somewhere new, or settling in for a nap, Neo adapts with very little fuss. His happy-go-lucky personality makes him a joy to have around, and he's always ready to join whatever fun is happening. Neo loves people, enjoys spending time with our older dog, and is happiest when he's included in the action. He has all the playful puppy energy you'd expect, but without the extra commentary, preferring to let his wagging tail do the talking. Like every growing puppy, Neo is working on potty training and learning good manners. Bedtime is no big deal for this laid-back little guy. He settles into his crate with minimal protest and sleeps well overnight with room for a potty pad while he continues learning. Neo also believes snacks make the world a better place! He's highly treat-motivated, making training fun and rewarding. With a little consistency, positive reinforcement, and plenty of tasty rewards, he's eager to learn and become the best companion he can be. If you're looking for a puppy who's equal parts fun, sweet, and wonderfully adaptable, Neo might just be your perfect scoop. 🍫🍓🍦 www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
