Story
0914168 - **Meet Britt: Your Spunky Sweetheart!** Britt is a sturdy little gal with a big heart! At around 1.5 old and 45 lbs, this mystery Shepherd mix  is full of personality and ready for her forever home. She made her way to Colorado from a high-kill shelter in New Mexico, and now she's eager to begin the next chapter of her life. Britt loves playing with other dogs and has great energy, though she’s still learning to share her toys—probably because they’re the first she’s ever had! She’s already house and kennel trained!  Britt can be very nervous of loud noises and sudden movements, so she would do best in a house without young kids.  She also doesn't enjoy car rides (she has some motion sickness) and gets nervous on walks so she will need a mellow house where she can just be a homebody, haha. Affectionate (once she gets to know you), bright, and highly treat-motivated, Britt is ready to soak up all the love and attention she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion, Britt would make the perfect addition to your home! If you're interested in adopting her please complete an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2186811##

Story
0822281 - Nymeria is a sweet girl who loves to get pet and is very affectionate.  We think she is a shepherd/husky mix, she is 6-7 years old but she is still very energetic and playful.  She would love her new human to be active and get her out on walks, hikes and runs.  She also likes to play in the water.  She does okay with other dogs out of the home as long as they are more on the submissive side but would do best as the only dog in the home.  She would also do best in a home with older kids (or no kids) and loved the teenagers in her foster home.  Nymeria loves toys and can often be found with a ball in her mouth.  She is house and crate trained. She is very smart and treat motivated so with a little training the sky is the limit for this girl!  If you are interested in meeting her please complete an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##1508274##

Story
0424080 - Meet May — the gentle old soul in a young German Shepherd body! May is an almost 2-year-old GSD who brings all the sweetness, sensitivity, and loyalty the breed is known for. She’s fully house trained and does just fine in a crate when needed. May gets along with most dogs, though she can be a little unsure at first. If you have another dog at home, she would do best with a confident, friendly pup around her size to help her feel secure. She has lived with kids and has been wonderful with them, always gentle and respectful. New people and new dogs can make her a bit skittish at first, so she’s looking for an adopter with patience and understanding. The good news? It doesn’t take long for her to warm up — once she feels safe, she becomes a total cuddlebug who loves affection and closeness. If you’re looking for a loving, soulful companion who just needs someone to believe in her, May might be your girl. To adopt May, complete an application at www.SloppyKisses.org/adoptions. ##2053382##

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Meet Kylie – A Shepherd Mix with a Heart Full of Hope At 9 years old, Kylie found herself in a shelter, unsure of what the future held. But instead of giving up, she embraced a new lease on life with a happy heart and a wagging tail. Now in foster care, this sweet shepherd mix is showing everyone just how much love she still has to give. Kylie is the total package—crate trained, wonderful with dogs, gentle with cats, and sweet with children. She’s calm, kind, and carries the wise and loving energy that only a senior dog can bring. Despite her age, she’s full of life and joy, always ready to brighten your day with her quiet companionship and happy spirit. Kylie is looking for someone who sees her the way her foster family does—not as “an old dog,” but as a loyal, loving soul who deserves her forever. She’s not giving up, and she hopes you won’t either. Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Stunning Rayne is a 5-year-old professionally trained Shepherd/Hound mix who is intelligent, sweet, cuddly, and energetic. Rayne tends to reflect the energy of those around her. If her human is calm, she will be, too, but if her human is amped up or anxious, she is likely to mirror that as well. She is generally eager to please, knows how to heel, and knows basic commands like sit, down, and come.  In the house, Rayne is generally very calm. She naps throughout the day and coexists peacefully with her foster brother. They hang out near one other or do their own thing. She is happy to play when he initiates and has tried to tempt him to play with a toy a few times, but she can get a little excited and forget her size once she gets deep into playtime. She has never had an indoor potty accident, and she hasn’t destroyed any household items. She also quietly and patiently lays in her crate when her humans leave the house. She does occasionally bark out the window at passersby.  Rayne gets quite excited to leave the house and go for walks. She walks well on a gentle leader and generally does not pull. It is best to give space outside when encountering dogs she does not know because she selectively gets overstimulated by some dogs. She is a great dog to hike with and will happily hike several miles and on steep trails without trying to drag you around. She tends to sniff more at the beginning of a hike. Later in the walk, she generally pads along and doesn’t really mark. Her foster mom enjoys watching her cute helicopter ears flop a little with every step. She also knows how to run alongside her foster mom on a bike tow leash while her mom pedals.  Rayne is ready to move right in and is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. So, what do you say? Apply today to embark on a wonderful journey together with this beautiful girl!  Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1204742##
