Story
Ben may be 10 years old, but don’t let that number fool you. This boy still has plenty of life, personality, and opinions about how his day should go. Some days he’s full of energy and ready for his walkies, and other days his biggest priority is finding the softest bed in the house and settling in for a very well-earned nap. Benjamin is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He does take daily medication for arthritis, which helps keep him comfortable, and he’s currently eating The Honest Kitchen dog food as we continue working on getting some healthy weight on him. Because Ben can be a little unsteady on his feet, we’re looking for a quiet, lower-traffic home where he won’t constantly be navigating chaos or getting bumped around. He doesn’t need a boring life—he still LOVES getting out for walks and being part of the action—he just needs a home that understands when it’s time to go, Ben is ready… and when it’s time to nap, Ben is also VERY ready!

Story
Her name is Sakari. She is a sweet dog but a typical husky who needs lots of outdoor time. Great with kids and people. Has never bit anyone, again a very sweet dog. Great with other dogs as well. Unsure about cats. She does NOT do the normal husky yell/talking unless you hype her up, so it’s fun when she does. She has papers, is not caught up on shots but has been spayed.Ideal home would probably be to someone with land where she can roam! She is very very clever at getting out so you will need to make sure your set up is husky proof! She always comes back but again, loves to roam, which is why I’d love to see her go to someone with land.Fee will make sure she is going to a good home and to cover a grooming session before she goes!

Some dogs just make it really easy to brag about them… and Sterling is absolutely one of those dogs. 🤍 At 3 years old, this handsome husky is the kind of boy who checks box after box. He’s affectionate, well-mannered, and genuinely just a joy to have around. 🐾 3 years old & neutered 💉 Up to date on vaccinations 🐕 Dog friendly with dogs of ALL sizes ❤️ Affectionate and loves his people 🦮 Walks beautifully on leash 🏡 Kennels well ⭐ All-around extraordinary boy Sterling is currently riding along with me on our route to Texas, and after that he’ll be making his way to his foster home in Maryland. He’s proving once again what an adaptable, easygoing guy he is—handling life on the road and everything that comes with it like a champ. This boy is SO ready for the part where someone realizes he’s exactly what they’ve been looking for. Sterling is available for adoption through Rides 4 Paws Rescue and can be adopted beyond Maryland for the right home. 🐾

Whether she`s making new canine friends or showing off her goofy side, she`s happiest when she`s around others and part of the action. She does pretty well on a leash and loves getting out to explore. As a young Husky, she`ll thrive with an active family that can provide plenty of exercise, adventures, and opportunities to burn off some of that youthful energy. While toys aren`t really her thing, people and dog friends definitely are! She`d much rather spend her time socializing, exploring, and having fun than chasing a ball.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. Story
Meet Borealis! ??Borealis is a 4-year-old, 43-pound Husky who is always ready to see what adventure is waiting around the corner! This curious boy loves taking in everything around him and seems to have an endless list of things he wants to investigate. If there is a new smell nearby, you can bet Borealis is ready to stop and give it a thorough sniff! His curious nature makes exploring one of his favorite activities, and he would love a home where he can enjoy plenty of opportunities to put his nose to work.Borealis came to us alongside another dog, and while he doesn’t seem to mind having other dogs around, we are still unsure how he does with them in a home setting. We are also unsure of his history with children. Any introductions should be done thoughtfully and at a pace that allows everyone to feel comfortable. With his Husky curiosity and love of exploring, Borealis is sure to keep his future family entertained! If you’re looking for a fun companion who is always ready to discover something new, come meet Borealis and let him show you where his nose takes him!We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. Story
Meet Scobby!Scobby is a high-energy, 51lb, 2-year-old, Alaskan Malamute who is ready to find a family to call his own. Through no fault of his own, he was surrendered to the shelter and is now hoping for a fresh start with people who will love him forever.According to his previous owner, Scobby gets along well with other dogs and does great with children of all ages, making him a wonderful candidate for an active family. He hasn`t been around cats, so his compatibility with feline friends is unknown.Scobby is comfortable spending time in a crate, which can be a great tool as he settles into a new home. He is not yet housetrained, so he`ll need a patient family willing to help him learn a consistent routine. With positive reinforcement, structure, and plenty of opportunities to succeed, he has the potential to make great progress. We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
