Her owner had her from puppyhood and surrendered her only because he was facing eviction after noise complaints in their apartment — he truly had no other choice. Marley is a sensitive, intelligent dog who thrives with structure, routine, and a calm environment. After eight years in one home, the shelter has been overwhelming for her, and she will do best in a house with space where she can decompress, settle, and feel secure again. 💛 General Personality & Home Life Marley is affectionate, loyal, and very bonded to her people. She’s the kind of dog who enjoys being near you but is also perfectly content relaxing on her own nearby. Her foster describes her as the perfect balance of playful and chill. She has a medium energy level — always happy to go for a walk, play fetch, or explore outside, but just as happy to settle in for a nap afterward. Marley is fully house trained and has had no accidents in her foster home. She knows several commands including sit, down, stay, kennel, and place, and she’s a very attentive listener who is eager to please.
