The adoption fee for this dog is $350 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. If you are interested in adopting this dog,  please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/generic.You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.Dog's Name:   Lolo  (LOL0723OWSMN)Estimated Breed:   Husky / Akita / shepherd MIX  Approximate Age:    2 yearsApproximate Weight:   40 lbsCurrently Living at:   FosterAdoption Fee:   $375DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Lolo is a very friendly, high-energy boy who is on the hunt for a forever home. He is eager to learn and loves being with people. This goofy guy would make a great hiking partner, walking partner, or with a little more training could make a great jogging partner. Lolo would do best as an only pup or with a large active dog companion as his active play style is not great for smaller or timid dogs. He would also do best in a house with a yard. Wouldn’t you want to have this sweet boy as your lifelong best buddy?Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. I’m on the hunt for my forever home and I’m hoping you can help. I’m very sweet and playful and very energetic and I really love people.  I'm OK with dogs in general but, okay, I'm a dominant sort of gal and would probably prefer to be the only canine in the house.  I've got some smarts too and I know the commands sit and lay down. I just want to find a place where I can feel safe and loved. Why don’t you fill out an application so we can meet and see if we click? I’d love to see your place! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. Petfinder inquires are not sent to us. Meet Juliet, a mixed breed 15 pound dog. She looks bigger in pictures but she is a small girl. We think she looks part Shibu Inu-what do you think? Juliet is very sweet, a bit shy initially but warms up quickly, housebroken and gets along with all size dogs in the foster home. Loves her zoomies in the fenced in yard. Playtime and cuddles-it is what she is about. . APPLY AT ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG (click on the word "Adopt" at top of page to find the dropdown menu with application) The adoption fee is $425, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. Puppies under 6 months of age may go to adoptive homes before they are spayed/neutered with a spay/neuter contract. Adopters who choose to adopt a puppy that has not yet been spayed/neutered are subject to an additional deposit of $100 (refundable upon proof of spay/neuter prior to the contracted date.) Included in the adoption fee, the rescue will arrange spay/neuter by a partner vet at a predetermined appointment when the puppy is between 7-9 months of age. It is the responsibility of the adopter to bring the adopted puppy back to the rescue vet for spaying/neutering or, if they choose, to send verification from their own vet (at the adopter's own cost) that the puppy had been spayed/neutered. All of our dogs will be microchipped. Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Find our application on our website, almosthomedogs.org, then click on "Adopt" tab at top We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment.

Story
Meet Dusty, the spirited canine companion who brings boundless joy and energy to every moment. With an unwavering passion for playtime, Dusty's heart skips a beat for tennis balls, and nothing delights him more than an exciting game of fetch. He's a social butterfly among his fellow furry friends, exhibiting exceptional compatibility and camaraderie during canine playdates. Notably, Dusty has demonstrated his affection for children, having been introduced to older kids who visited his home and leaving a trail of positive interactions in their wake. Moreover, his past experiences have made him vigilant over his treasures, so he thrives in an environment with knowledgeable, older children who can expertly interpret his body language and respect his meal and chew times. Notes From Foster : Dusty is a faithful companion when he knows you are his human. He is funny and will follow you everywhere you go because he doesn't want to miss a second of time with you. Dusty requires only your devoted attention and food. He is an easy-going old man who will sit at your feet and keep you company. His only requirement is that you pet him and acknowledge that he is there and that you love him! In the presence of Dusty, every day transforms into an opportunity for play and connection, reminding us all of the sheer happiness that a loyal and spirited companion can bring into our lives.

Story
Ok, who else in the audience LOVES the JAPANESE BREEDS???? Shiba Inu, Akita???? WE LOVE THEM ALL!! So, I am what we all believe is a Shiba/Chow mix. And each of these breeds have a couple of things in common- we are clean dogs (more like cats than dogs), we are stubborn, we love our people (and are picky about people who are not them), and we are absolutely gorgeous!! So there is my personality :) I am good with other dogs, love females more than male dogs but can get along with both. I am only 45#, compact with gorgeous fur. I am so smart, so independent, so stubborn and SO LOVABLE! If you are my peeps, you will have enough love for the rest of your lives!! I am being social at the rescue, I am exposed to and cared for by quite a few different people, I just love my real peeps more!! lol If you want to meet me and adopt me, let my rescue know! Fill out the application and lets get on with our forever lives :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
