Story
🏠 Currently in a Seattle foster homeHi… I’m Mitsu 🤍I’ve been through a moment where everything could have ended. But somehow, I’m still here. And now, I’m waiting… not for just anyone, but for my person. My family. If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s this: I truly, deeply love people. Even if we’ve just met, I’ll come up to you with my tail wagging, looking into your eyes, hoping you’ll look back at me. I love that connection—the quiet moment where we understand each other without words. Being with you makes me happy. Getting attention, feeling loved… I know those feelings well, and I want to share them with you every day. With other dogs, I’m still learning. I didn’t have many good chances to make friends before, so sometimes I can feel unsure and react a little defensively at first. But if you give me space, let me take my time… I start to soften. I’ll get curious. I’ll follow along. And before you know it, my tail will be wagging beside a new friend. I’m working hard on this right now, learning how to feel more comfortable and confident. I’m getting better every day.Still, in a brand-new environment, I might need your guidance. Because of that, I think I would feel safest as your one and only dog—your whole heart, and you’ll have all of mine. I’m smart, too. I learn quickly, especially when I’m looking into your eyes. I want to understand you. I want to be the best companion I can be.Honestly… aside from a few things I’m still learning, people often say I’m almost perfect. But what I really am, is a dog with a big heart— a heart that has been waiting to belong to someone. If you give me patience, guidance, and love, I will give you something just as big in return. No more waiting. No more uncertainty. Just you and me, together. Will you be my forever family? 🤍🏠 Currently in a Seattle foster homeHi… I’m Mitsu 🤍I’ve been through a moment where everything could have ended. But somehow, I’m still here. Story
Hi future family, My name is Nuri. 😊 I’m a 2-year-old Shiba × Jindo mix girl weighing around 13kg. Before I was rescued, I was living in a shelter in Korea and was sadly at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully, kind people saved me just in time. Since then, I’ve received the care and treatment I needed, and now I’m finally ready to find the forever family I’ve always dreamed of. 💛 I truly love people. Being close to humans makes me feel safe and happy, and I enjoy simply spending quiet time together. I’m usually friendly even with new people, and I love gentle attention and affection. I also get along very well with other dogs and even cats! 🐶🐱 I can fit nicely into many different types of homes — whether I’m your only dog, living with furry siblings, or joining a family with children. One of the best things about me is my calm and easygoing personality. I rarely bark, I don’t struggle with separation anxiety, and I’m not destructive around the house. I’m the kind of girl who enjoys peaceful daily life and being near my family. I walk nicely on leash and enjoy going outside for walks. I prefer doing my potty outside and do well with a regular routine. I’m also not picky with food at all — honestly, I’m just happy when mealtime comes around! I adapt relatively well to new environments too, so I could happily live in an apartment, condo, or house. As long as I’m surrounded by love and kindness, I’ll be content. 🏡 More than anything, I just want a family to call my own. After everything I’ve been through, I hope my next chapter will be filled with love, comfort, warm walks, and quiet moments together. I want to spend my life beside people who will cherish me as part of their family. I’m waiting patiently for the people who will walk beside me, make memories with me, and love me forever. Love, Nuri 🐾

Story
My name is Jessie, and I’m a 2-year-old female Shiba × Jindo mix weighing around 13kg — a comfortable medium size, perfect for sharing everyday life together. I have the sweet fox-like face of a Shiba, mixed with the sturdy and graceful charm of a Jindo. People often notice my bright eyes and calm presence first… but the longer they spend with me, the more they fall in love with my quiet affection and gentle personality. Before I was rescued, I was on the euthanasia list at a shelter. Because of that, I think I understand more than most dogs how precious a real family can be. 💛 Thankfully, even after everything I’ve been through, I still have a very kind heart. I get along well with other dogs and usually live peacefully without conflict. I can be a little shy or cautious when meeting new people or entering unfamiliar environments, but that’s simply because I’m thoughtful and careful by nature. I’m not the type to rush up to strangers right away. But if you give me patience and kindness instead of pressure, something beautiful happens — one day I’ll quietly walk toward you first, wag my tail, and decide that you are someone I can trust. And once I open my heart, I become incredibly loving and loyal. I truly enjoy being near my people and sharing quiet companionship together. Because I’ve never really experienced normal family life before, there are still many things I need to learn after adoption. The sounds inside a home, neighborhood walks, house routines, alone time, visitors, and everyday family life may all feel new to me at first. During the first days or weeks, I may seem nervous, cautious, or unsure while adjusting to such a different environment. I might make mistakes sometimes — but those moments are not “bad behavior.” They are simply part of learning and healing. What I need most is not punishment, but patience. If you gently teach me things like potty routines, leash manners, house rules, and how to feel safe with people, I know I can continue growing into an amazing companion. Jindo mixes are known for being intelligent and observant, and I’m the kind of girl who pays close attention to my human’s emotions and routines. When I feel secure and understood, I learn very quickly. In the beginning, it will help me most if my new family gives me a calm, predictable routine and a quiet safe space where I can relax. Rather than rushing me into too many new experiences at once, I would do best with gentle guidance and time to adjust at my own pace. And once trust is built, I will give my whole heart in return. I may not be the kind of dog who feels “perfect” from the very first moment. But if you are looking for a companion to grow with, learn with, and slowly become family with, I truly believe I could bring deep love, warmth, and happiness into your life. A girl who was once almost forgotten is now waiting hopefully for her forever home. Maybe that family is you. 🐾 Love, Jessie

Story
Hi… I’m Norang 🤍 I was found wandering in the mountains, after losing my mom. I wasn’t alone back then—I had my siblings with me. But one by one, they found their families and left for their new homes. Now… it’s just me. And I’m still here, waiting. Hoping my turn will come. I’m a bright and friendly boy. I like people, and I get along well with other dogs too. At first, I might feel a little shy… but if you give me just a little time, I’ll come closer with a wagging tail and a curious heart. Because I really do love being near you. I’m still just a puppy—only 1 years old. So I’m full of energy, curiosity, and a little bit of mischief too 😊 I love toys. I love running and playing. And every day, I’m learning something new about the world. There are still many things I don’t know yet. Living in a home, potty training, understanding what I can and can’t do… I’ll need you to teach me all of that, step by step. Sometimes I might chew on things, or make little mistakes. But I’m not trying to be bad—I’m just growing, learning, becoming who I’m meant to be. Right now, I’m not a “perfect” dog. I’m a dog in the middle of becoming. And that means something special— because you get to be part of who I grow into. With your love, your guidance, and your patience, I can become the best companion you could ever ask for. Even after losing my family, I still trust people. I still believe in love. Now I just need someone who won’t leave— someone who will stay, teach me, and grow with me. I don’t want to be alone anymore. I want a home. I want you. Will you be my forever family? 🤍

Story
Hi future family, My name is Kongtteok, and I’m a 5-month-old Shiba × Jindo mix girl weighing around 5kg. I have big pointy ears, a bright happy smile, and a face that makes people smile the moment they see me. I’m still just a baby, so I’m full of playful energy, curiosity, and puppy sweetness. 💛 Before I was rescued, my brother Haeram and I wandered together near roads in a small countryside village. It was a very dangerous place for two little puppies to survive, and we could have easily been hurt by cars. Thankfully, kind people rescued us safely, and now I’m healthy, safe, and waiting for the forever family I’ve always deserved. I really love people. Even when I meet someone new, I warm up pretty quickly and happily wag my tail when I get attention and affection. I’m a very gentle and friendly girl who enjoys being close to people. I also get along wonderfully with other dogs and love running around and playing with my puppy friends. I already do well on walks and ride calmly in the car, so I adapt to new experiences quite nicely for such a young puppy. I’m also a quiet girl who rarely barks, and my gentle personality makes me a lovely companion for home life. Right now, my potty training success rate is around 80%, which is pretty good for a baby puppy! Of course, when I move into a new home, I may still have accidents while learning a new routine. But with patience and consistency, I’m a smart little girl who will learn quickly. Because I’m still only five months old, there are many things I’m still discovering about the world. In a new environment, I might chew on things, get playful and curious, or make little mistakes as I adjust. That’s not because I’m naughty — it’s simply part of growing up as a puppy. I’ll need time to learn your family’s routines, house rules, and how to become confident in my new home. If you guide me gently and lovingly, I know I can grow into a wonderful lifelong companion. I especially love human connection and respond very well to love, praise, and attention. The more time we spend together — walking, playing, cuddling, and learning — the stronger our bond will become. I truly want to be close to my people and share my life with them. I may still be small, but I have a big heart ready to love my forever family. For someone who wants to experience the joy of raising a puppy and watching her grow day by day, I know I could become a very special part of your life. With my big ears, bright smile, and tiny puppy steps, I’m waiting for the family who will laugh with me, grow with me, and love me forever. Love, Kongtteok 🐾
