She is shy at first, then imprints on you.  Loves hanging with her people on the couch or in your chair.  Crate trained. She will do best in a home with Spitz experienced owners that will take her on walks and is keen on the breed personality and health needs.  L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Story
Meet Gooreum ☁️ Gooreum was abandoned at a garbage dump in Gimje. Next to her, her friends had starved to death and were rotting. Adogs quickly rescued her, as it was not a safe place for her to remain. * With People: Approaches strangers cautiously by sniffing them. Is very affectionate with familiar people, jumping to greet them, and even licking them. Follows people and loves to be petted. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. Lies down rather than playing with other dogs. Displays sometimes discomfort to dogs who she does not like. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as she currently resides in a group at our center. * Potty Training: Not confirmed, though she goes potty outside at our center. * Hygiene: Tolerates nail trimming when held in a hugging position. Is gentle enough to accept brushing nicely. * Walks: Loves going for walks! Tends to pull on the leash due to her high level of excitement. Needs some time for cooling down before and after walks. Care is needed to stop her from running after birds. ❗Health Condition❗ * Microchipped, with a heartworm reexamination scheduled for April 2025.

Story
Meet Pogun🥰 Pogeun had stayed at the Gimje shelter for a long time. He has a mild and friendly nature with other dogs. Tragically, a severe disc injury led to emergency surgery for hind limb paralysis. He bravely underwent surgery and completed physical rehabilitation. * With People: Is initially shy but becomes incredibly affectionate if you give him enough time to greet. Loves people and enjoys being petted. * With Dogs: Gets along well with all his canine friends. If other dogs disturb him while he’s resting, he may growl as a warning, but does not bite at all. * With Cats: Is highly excited when encountering cats, so careful management is required. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides communally at our center. * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty. Occasionally makes mistakes indoors, especially when becoming excited and having his hind legs tense up, regardless of his will. * Hygiene: Handles all aspects of grooming well, including baths, brushing, nail trimming, teeth cleaning, and ear cleaning. Tolerates even hair dryer well enough to sleep through it without getting scared. * Walks: Loves and does well walks but occasionally gets highly excited. Can walk or even run without support on his legs. * Car Sickness: Generally rides well in a car, though he may drool slightly. 💌Special Note💌 * Is frightened by objects like sticks and may react skittishly. ❗Health Condition❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped and completed rehabilitation forhind limb paralysis caused by disc herniation. * Rehabilitation is no longer needed but careful monitoring is necessary.

Story
Meet Spring🌻 * With People : She may shy away for a moment if a stranger approaches first, but she usually warms up and approaches them herself after a minute or two. She loves receiving affection from anyone. * With Dogs : It takes her a little time to warm up, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll send playful signals and loves goofing around together. * With Cats : She doesn’t act aggressively or chase after them, and generally doesn’t bother them * Separation Anxiety : She may whine a little, but she generally does well. She may need some separation anxiety training once she transitions to a foster or forever home. * Potty Training : She learned to use the pee pad after just a few tries! She hasn't gone potty outside yet, as she's still in the process of getting her vaccinations up to date. * Hygiene : Due to a burn, she's been getting wiped down with bath wipes instead of full baths. She generally doesn’t mind ear cleaning or dental care like tooth brushing. * Walk : Haven’t been on a walk as her vaccines are not up to date. * Car Sickness : Haven’t been on long car rides, but for short rides haven’t shown any signs of car sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 * She has a good appetite but doesn’t fight over food or treats with other dogs or cats. She’ll even finish up leftovers from other bowls! * If someone suddenly approaches her quickly, she may hesitate. She’s still undergoing treatment for her burn, so she feels uncomfortable when her paws are touched. * Currently, she is still at the vet but has her own cushioned spot under the desk where she takes her break.

Story
Meet Mochi!! Mochi was rescued from a High-kill shelter by our Dorothy rescue group. She is a sweet and loving Jindo mix girl who wants to be loved :) Behaviours from foster home : Mochi is a gentle, sweet and an affectionate girl who will appreciate your love and adore you furever! She is a bit timid and shy at first time. She would be appreciate it, if you could give her some time get used to her new family and new environment :) She is still a bit shy with other doggie friends. She'd like to smell them, but when the other doggie friends approach her, she'd become a bit shy and cautious. She is ok with stangers or kids. Though, she'd like your slow and gentle approach to her. Please give her some time to get used to you and wait for her to feel comfortable and let her come to you :) She is also good with bathing and grooming. Though.. she is scared of the noise from a dryer. She has good walking manner, as well. But, she is afraid of manhole cover.. haha^- ^;; You will see her walking around it. She is pee-pad trained with 100% success rate!! She isn't a big barker, but she may bark for a bit at door bell. She hasn't showed any separation anxiety :) She gets carsick, so- if you have a plan to go for car drive, please don't feed her before the adventure ;) Mochi may be a bit shy at first time, but she is such a sweet and loving puppy who loves people and gives all the kisses you want! We hope we could find a loving family who can understand her puppyhood and be patient with her puppy training. Would you be her loving pawrents? :) Allergy/health issues : She hasn't showed any allergy issue.
