Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️💟Available to fly to SEATTLE💟Meet Dorang❤️💙 Update Account: @adogs1️⃣ Health Condition Spayed. Microchipped, heartworm negative, and dental scaling completed.2️⃣ Rescue Story Dorang was rescued from a dog meat farm in Gunsan along with her friends Dodam and Dodo at Adogs. After witnessing the cruel deaths of her companions every day, Dorang shed continuous tears of relief at the moment she was finally rescued.3️⃣ Basic Information With People: Is still wary of strangers and tends to bark, but is gradually opening her heart. While she shows curiosity and allows some touch from new people, caution is required as she may nip. With familiar people, she enjoys physical affection. Once she trusts you, she allows you to touch her anywhere. Wags her tail when making eye contact and shows her belly for rubs! With Dogs: Gets along very well with other dogs and especially loves puppies. With Cats: Doesn't pay much attention to cats. Separation Anxiety: Difficult to determine accurately due to the center environment, but she has shown no signs of anxiety so far. Potty Training: Uses pads well indoors and also enjoys outdoor potty breaks. Hygiene: Stays calm during brushing. Needs to wear a recovery collar (cone) when having her nails trimmed. Walks: Does excellently without pulling on the leash. Car Sickness: Rests comfortably during car rides without motion sickness. May nip if a stranger turns their back to her due to fear. Might accept pets from strangers but suddenly nip during the interaction. If her tail is fully up, she is generally receptive to touch; if her tail is even slightly lowered, she may nip. Even while showing affection (like licking/kisses), she may nip without warning. With familiar people, she may give a "warning nip" (feels like a pinch) if they do something she dislikes. Barks at strangers out of fear and defensiveness. Absolutely loves going for walks and treats! Particularly adores the head of Adogs! Is frightened by loud noises or sudden, large movements. Tends to cowered or lie flat on the ground at loud sounds. Gets particularly startled by stern voices or banging on a table. Is wary of unfamiliar people and surroundings, so she takes her time at first. However, once a bond is formed, she shows a lot of affection. Requires some time to build trust and get comfortable.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Buddle🌿 (It means willow in Korean) 💙 Name: Buddle 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 1 year old (Born in August 2024) 💙 Weight: 14.7 kg / 32.4 lb 💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_ 1️⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and completed patellar luxation surgery on both the right and left hind legs. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Since he was a puppy, Buddle lived a confined life, tied up in a yard where a tiny outdoor space was his entire world. It was only when he reached adulthood that he was finally able to step out into the wider world through a rescue by Adogs. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Tolerates physical contact from strangers but still displays slight tension. However, showing a high interest in people, he will approach to sniff and linger around handlers while other dogs are playing with them. With familiar faces, he is noticeably more relaxed and will wag his tail in greeting. * With Dogs: Shows no aggression toward other dogs and shares treats peacefully without conflict. However, his play style can sometimes be overly persistent; he may continue to pursue a dog even when they express discomfort, so guidance and boundary training are required. * With Cats: Displayed no aggressive reactions and simply approached to sniff and investigate. * Separation Anxiety: Currently unknown due to the communal environment at our center. Indoor house-training will be necessary from scratch once transitioned into a home. * Potty Training: Strictly prefers outdoor elimination and exhibits marking behavior during walks. Potty training will likely need to be established from the beginning in a home setting. * Hygiene: Is highly cooperative and accepts all types of grooming care well. Is a moderate-to-heavy shedder. * Walks: Does well overall, though he tends to pull slightly ahead on the leash. * Car Sickness: Shows anxiety regarding car rides, but will settle down and remain calm if given a few moments to adjust. * Nipping: During the early stages of training center admission, he displayed a single instance of defensive, warning mouthiness when being guided back to the kennel after playtime. * Barking: Emits demand-whining when eager to be let out of the kennel quickly. * Like: Is exceptionally fond of plushies and toys, often carrying them around. Also enjoys tug-of-war and rolling in the grass. * Dislike: Becomes fearful and retreats when exposed to loud noises or when corrected for over-exuberant play. Additionally, due to fear of car rides, he may attempt to slip out of a collar or harness to flee; therefore, the use of a double-leash is mandatory and extreme caution is advised. * Personality: Adapts relatively quickly to new environments. While slightly timid around humans—sometimes freezing when nervous—he transforms into a bright, vibrant, and playful dog when socializing with other canine companions. However, he is still a bit shy around people, so can get a little nervous.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Dooly🦕 (It's famous Korean dinosaur character name) 💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_ 1️⃣ Health Condition Neutered. Microchipped.2️⃣ Rescue Story* Dooly spent his puppyhood at the Gimje Shelter with his siblings, #AdogsDonor and #AdogsTtochi, after being found without their mother. When Adogs staff visited the shelter, they were so moved by the puppies wagging their tails that they decided to rescue the entire litter.3️⃣ Basic Information* With People: Is curious about humans but quite timid, so he doesn't usually approach first. Please approach him slowly, as sudden movements may startle him. Shows curiosity and sniffs people who are sitting or have their backs turned. Occasionally, he will come close on his own to take treats.* With Dogs: Gets along well with his friends at the center. Rather than playing energetically, he prefers to relax and rest. Sometimes mouths at other friends as if giving them a warning if there are treats around. With Cats: Watches and tries to chase cats. However, during walks, he is usually too tense to chase them even if he sees one. Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he is currently living in a group environment. May require training when transitioning to a home life.* Potty Training: Currently only relieves himself outdoors. Exhibits marking behavior during walks and outdoor time.* Hygiene: Tends to avoid physical touch, so we are working on this very slowly and patiently.* Walks: Thanks to training at a school and consistent walks with volunteers, he walks very well. However, because he is easily startled, a double-leash is mandatory for safety. Tends to pull slightly to maintain distance from the person walking him. May try to dart away if startled by people or passing cars.* Biting: May show mouthing or snapping behavior if forced to do something against his will.* Barking: Rarely barks.* Likes: Loves treats! Will come close to people to accept a tasty snack.* Dislikes: Is still uncomfortable with physical touch and prefer not to be petted for now.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEATTLE💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Gowoon🧡 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative upon retest after treatment. 2⃣ Rescue Story * At the end of 2021, Gowoon gave birth to seven puppies at the Gimje City Shelter. She and her puppies were rescued together. All of her puppies have since gone to foster or adoptive homes, but Gowoon has remained at our center, waiting for a family of her own. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Tends to be very shy because she isn’t used to human touch. Previously ran away from humans, but has gotten much better. She looks much brighter and she even follows people for treats. When leashed in a confined space, she allows touch except on the top of her head. * With Dogs: Approaches and sniffs new dogs. Isn’t shy with dogs and coexists peacefully with almost all of them. * With Cats: Didn’t react to a cat she saw that was 10 meters away from her, separated by a fence. * Separation Anxiety: Doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety and is fine alone. Since she’s shy with people, she actually seems more energetic when people aren’t around. * Potty Training: Currently only does outdoor potty at our center. May need basic training in a new environment. * Hygiene: Does well with baths. Is uncomfortable with brushing and nail trims but currently accepts them quite well through desensitization training. * Walks: There’s a possibility that she may escape, so we are leash training her within the facilities. While leashed, she slowly follows her handler’s lead. * Car Sickness: Is calm in the car, and sits quietly without motion sickness. * Barking: Barks when hearing loud noises outside. Also barks if she is outside alone while people are out of her sight and hears them moving around inside the kennels. Sometimes barks if other dogs run outside to play first and she wants to go out too. * Biting: Previously, she occasionally bit in defense due to fear. Through consistent training, she now only opens her mouth as a warning, but doesn’t bite and doesn’t show any other aggressive behaviors if you pet her and calm her down. * Likes: Likes meat-based treats. Shows a clear preference for chicken breast treats. Likes having her chin scratched. * Dislikes: Is afraid of sudden movements, loud noises, and hands that come near her eyes. * Personality: Gets along well with dogs, and expresses her likes and dislikes very clearly. Is very low maintenance since she rests comfortably in her kennel with no separation anxiety and doesn’t bark for attention. Will need continuous training since she’s timid and shy, but she will become brighter and brighter if you match her pace and wait for her to come to you.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️💟Available to fly to SEA💟The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate.Meet Yunjeong😊 💙 Name: Yunjeong 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 5 years old (Born January 2021) 💙 Weight: 12 kg (approx. 26 lbs) 💙 ADOGS Instagram (KR): @adogs 💙 English Profile: @_adogs_rescue 1. Medical History - Neuter Status: Completed (Spayed) - Microchip: Registered (Internal chip completed) - Other Notes: Heartworm retest negative 2. Rescue Story In the exceptionally freezing January of 2021, Yunjeong was staying at the Gimje Shelter with her newborn puppies. Tragically, she lost all of her babies to canine parvovirus. Deeply concerned about her failing physical and emotional health, ADOGS stepped in urgently to rescue her. 3. Personality & Characteristics - Interaction with Humans: She is shy and very fearful, often retreating to a corner when strangers approach. She remains cautious even with familiar faces and prefers to be left alone in her space to enjoy her treats. However, if you spend enough time in the same room and approach her very slowly, she accepts physical touch and petting well. - Interaction with Dogs: She prefers being alone rather than mingling with other dog friends. She coexists fine as long as other dogs don't bother her first. However, she shows severe aggression when sharing a sleeping or personal living space with other dogs, so she must be housed separately from them. - Interaction with Cats: She showed absolutely no reaction when encountering cats during her walks. - Separation Anxiety: Since she is currently staying at the shelter, it is difficult to assess. She will need structured training from the beginning once she transitions to a home. - Potty Training: Since she is currently living in a group environment at the shelter, her exact housebreaking habits cannot be fully determined yet. - Grooming & Hygiene: Out of fear, she tends to lay flat, but she tolerates baths, blow-drying, and brushing very gently. She tries to pull her paws away uncomfortably when you hold them before a nail trim, but she behaves well once the actual trimming begins. - Leash Walking: She tends to pull on the leash a bit at the beginning of a walk. Because she is easily frightened, she may lay flat on the ground or spin around her handler when she feels scared. She needs calm, gentle reassurance and patient leash training. - Motion Sickness: She has not traveled in a car yet, so it is unknown. - Biting/Aggression: She can show aggression and pick fights with other dogs when unsupervised in a shared space, so she must be safely separated from other animals. - Barking: She is incredibly quiet; she has shown absolutely no barking or whining behavior. - Likes: She loves resting quietly on her own and enjoys munching on treats in a comfortable, safe space. - Dislikes: Since she is still fearful of humans, she may get startled and have a potty accident if you try to pick her up or hold her suddenly. You must give her plenty of time and space. - Personality: Yunjeong is a calm, quiet soul who opens her heart very slowly. She thoroughly enjoys spending peaceful, comforting time all by herself.

Basic Information * With People: Is still not fully comfortable with human touch. Tends to bark at unfamiliar people and dislikes when people try to pet her. To those she gets used, she'll walk up and accept treats directly. It would be better to give her time to adjust at her own pace. * With Dogs: Is very sociable and gets along very well with other dogs at our center without any issues. * With Cats: Caution is required as she shows a tendency to chase cats. * Separation Anxiety: Unclear, as she lives in a communal setting at our center. * Potty Training: Only potties outdoors at our center. Will need basic training in a new environment. * Walks: Is quite fearful and walks while on guard. * Hygiene: Accepted grooming well at a dog training school. However, her reaction is not exactly confirmed as she hasn't experienced grooming at our center. * Car Sickness: Rides very well without motion sickness. * Gets scared easily and bites defensively when people try to touch her. * Is still awkward and scared of people, so she barks when seeing them. * Enjoys playing with other dog friends. * Isn’t comfortable with human touch, perhaps because she grew up in a shelter. * Is generally quiet, but runs energetically when she’s with dog friends. Is still fearful of many things and timid.
