Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Woody from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 7 month old  male Shiba Inu mix.  I weigh approximately 24 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
[Ledo is ready for her flight to Seattle upon adoption] Background: Ledo was rescued from a city pound just before she was scheduled to be put down. Since being saved, Ledo has been comfortably living alongside other dogs at our boarding facility. Personality and Socialization: Ledo is a happy, affectionate, playful, and loving girl. She is very sweet, adores cuddles, and loves to give little smooches. She socializes well with dogs of different sizes, though she can feel nervous around pushy or dominant ones. Ledo has not had any experience with cats or young children. Behaviour: Ledo is still quite new to leash walks but naturally stays close to her human when outdoors. She is a very smart girl and will learn routines quickly with consistent training. She handles baths, car rides, and vet visits well. Ledo has excellent manners and allows people to handle her without a fuss. When she’s indoors, she is quiet. Health and Diet: Ledo is spayed, has a microchip, and is current on all her vaccinations. She receives monthly parasite prevention; parasite and heartworm tests have been completed. She eats dry kibble twice daily and doesn’t appear to have any known allergies. Ideal Home: For Ledo, being close to her person is very important. She is happiest and does best with someone home most of the day, finding comfort and happiness in having steady company (best for retirees or people who work from home). She is naturally sweet, loving, and gentle. Plus, she’s smart and well-behaved, which makes her a wonderful friend. If you’re ready for a strong connection with an affectionate dog who loves to snuggle, Ledo is waiting to join your family. Story
Quick Facts  Name: Sang Age: 6 years old  Gender: Male Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Jindo & Shiba Mix Color: Black & Tan Weight: 12kg   All About Me I was abandoned in front of the shelter with my five siblings, but now I’m ready to find my forever home where I can finally feel safe and loved. I might be a little shy at first, but with some time and patience, I’ll warm up and become your most loyal companion. Good with kids: We’re not sure yet, as Sang hasn’t had the chance to meet any children. However, he has a very gentle and calm temperament, so we believe he would likely do well with kids.Good with other dogs: Yes, once comfortable.Good with cats: Slightly scared, but less than with dogs.   My Personality Shy but Sweet: I’m a bit timid when we first meet, but give me a little time, and I’ll become your best friend. I might not be too interested in snacks, but I’m definitely interested in getting to know you! People-Focused: I rely a lot on people for comfort and security. Once I know you like me, I’ll follow you everywhere and shower you with affection. You’ll always have a loyal companion by your side! Not Much of a Player: I’m not very interested in other dogs, but I feel more secure when they’re around. While I might not play with them, I do like having them nearby—it makes me feel safe. A home with other dogs could be a good fit for me! Outdoor Enthusiast: I enjoy outdoor activities and have a normal energy level. After some fun outside, I’m happy to rest quietly and relax with you. Easygoing Eater: I’m very laid-back when it comes to food—I don’t guard my meals, and I’m always polite during mealtime. Quiet and Calm: I’m not much of a barker, and I’m calm when resting in a kennel. I prefer to keep things peaceful and quiet. House-trained:Yes, Sang is fully house-trained and only goes potty outside. He has never had an accident indoors. Energy Level:Sang has a moderate energy level indoors. He enjoys quietly following you around the house and just being near you. However, when he's outside, he becomes very fast and loves to run around. He doesn’t play with toys—he’s actually a bit scared of them—but when I take him to a private off-leash area, he enjoys chasing me around. Sang doesn’t really know how to “play” like a typical dog, so I just talk to him a lot and engage with him that way. He understands “pee pee poo poo” in a high-pitched voice as a cue to go outside, and he gets excited, sometimes even cries a little (in a happy way) because he’s eager to go out. Leash Trained:Sang may pull at first due to nerves, especially in unfamiliar areas. He gets startled by certain noises like car doors closing or beeping, and large vehicles passing by. Once he’s used to the environment, he walks at a normal pace. He usually needs to pee or poop in the morning, so if he’s pulling harder than usual, he’s probably just looking for a good spot to go. After that, he settles down. He can get scared when large dogs approach and might try to pull away. Please be careful—he may slip out of his harness if it isn’t secure. I always make sure the harness is snug and pulls from the chest area. Barking:Sang doesn’t bark! He only makes sounds in his sleep—it’s really cute. He might bark softly for a few seconds while dreaming, but otherwise he doesn’t bark at all. He sometimes cries when he’s excited, but it’s never loud or disruptive. Car Travel:Sang loves car rides! I try to bring him with me whenever I can because he enjoys being in the car. I think he likes it even more because he usually ends up at fun places like his dog friends’ houses, the cottage, or my parents’ home. He seems to assume we’re going somewhere exciting when we drive. He’s very calm in the car and gets visibly excited when I shift into “park”—it’s like he knows we’ve arrived somewhere good!   Special NotesI’m a gentle, loyal, and affectionate dog who’s looking for a patient and loving home. I might be shy at first, but once I trust you, I’ll be the most devoted companion you could ever ask for. I’m great with other dogs, even if I don’t play much, and I’ll always prioritize my human friends. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving friend who will follow you everywhere, I’m your perfect match! Ready to give Sang a loving home? Let’s start our journey together—I can’t wait to meet you and be your loyal companion!   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nfrKkcuPUk&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JwExxMEjohV4q2hawhiGaY3 ##2260902##
