Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Woody from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 7 month old  male Shiba Inu mix.  I weigh approximately 24 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
Meet Spring🌻 * With People : She may shy away for a moment if a stranger approaches first, but she usually warms up and approaches them herself after a minute or two. She loves receiving affection from anyone. * With Dogs : It takes her a little time to warm up, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll send playful signals and loves goofing around together. * With Cats : She doesn’t act aggressively or chase after them, and generally doesn’t bother them * Separation Anxiety : She may whine a little, but she generally does well. She may need some separation anxiety training once she transitions to a foster or forever home. * Potty Training : She learned to use the pee pad after just a few tries! She hasn't gone potty outside yet, as she's still in the process of getting her vaccinations up to date. * Hygiene : Due to a burn, she's been getting wiped down with bath wipes instead of full baths. She generally doesn’t mind ear cleaning or dental care like tooth brushing. * Walk : Haven’t been on a walk as her vaccines are not up to date. * Car Sickness : Haven’t been on long car rides, but for short rides haven’t shown any signs of car sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 * She has a good appetite but doesn’t fight over food or treats with other dogs or cats. She’ll even finish up leftovers from other bowls! * If someone suddenly approaches her quickly, she may hesitate. She’s still undergoing treatment for her burn, so she feels uncomfortable when her paws are touched. * Currently, she is still at the vet but has her own cushioned spot under the desk where she takes her break.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Pogun🥰 💙 Adogs News Updates: @_adogs_everyday 1⃣ Health Condition * Neuter: Complete * Microchipped.. * Completed rehabilitation for hind limb paralysis caused by disc herniation. Rehabilitation is no longer needed but careful monitoring is necessary. * Has periodontitis so his gums are itchy. Consistent tooth brushing is required. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Pogeun had stayed at the Gimje shelter for a long time. He has a mild and friendly nature with other dogs. Tragically, a severe disc injury led to emergency surgery for hind limb paralysis. He bravely underwent surgery and completed physical rehabilitation. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is initially shy but becomes incredibly affectionate if you give him enough time to greet. Loves people and enjoys being petted. * With Dogs: Gets along well with all his canine friends. If other dogs disturb him while he’s resting, he may growl as a warning, but does not bite at all. * With Cats: Becomes excited when seeing cats and tries to chase them, so careful management is required. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides communally at our center. Is fine staying with other the dogs. * House Training: Prefers outdoor potty. Occasionally makes mistakes indoors, especially when becoming excited and having his hind legs tense up, regardless of his will. * Hygiene: Handles all aspects of grooming well, including baths, brushing, nail trimming, teeth cleaning, and ear cleaning. Does so well with the hair dryer that he sleeps through it without getting scared. * Leash Training: Loves and does well on walks but occasionally gets highly excited. Can walk or even run without a support brace on his leg. * Car Sickness: Generally rides well in a car, though he may drool slightly. 4⃣ Special Notes * Is frightened by objects like sticks and may react skittishly.
