Story
Bentley is a sweet, gentle soul with a heart full of love. At 15 years young, he was surrendered due to medical needs, but despite his challenges, he remains a joyful and resilient companion. Bentley has a heart murmur, but after a visit to a cardiologist, he was diagnosed with degenerative valvular disease, which requires no treatment — a relief for Bentley and his future family! In addition to his heart, Bentley’s eyes are in need of some care. He is blind in both eyes and struggles with dry eye and cherry eye, but he’s not letting that slow him down. He recently saw an ophthalmologist, and with the right medication, he’s living life to the fullest. Bentley is incredibly patient when it comes to his daily eye treatments, and his future family will need to be comfortable administering them. Bentley is on the lookout for a warm, loving home where he can enjoy slow, peaceful walks and snuggle up in a cozy bed. If you're ready to offer Bentley the care and love he deserves, he’s ready to bring endless affection into your life.

Story
Ollie and Lulu were surrendered to us when their owner no longer had the time to care for them. They both had untreated medical issues and severe dental disease, leaving them extremely uncomfortable and lethargic. After receiving treatment they became almost entirely different dogs. Ollie and Lulu may be seniors but they sure do like to go for walks and run around the yard together. They are a volunteer favourite because of their goofy and sweet dispositions. They are selective with dogs and would only do well in a home with another calm dog that does not intimidate or become rough with them. Ollie does bark at other dogs in passing, while Lulu ignores them. Ollie and Lulu would do well in just about any home. They have been great with respectful children that are experienced with dogs. Lulu can sometimes have grumpy moments when she wants her space to nap. It's important to look for the obvious signs when she needs alone time. Ollie is always happy and ready for a cuddle. This cute duo have great house manners, they frequently go on sleepovers with our dedicated volunteers who report they are always on their best behaviour. Benito will be your best buddy. He loves people and will follow you everywhere. Benito likes kids, dogs, and cats! He also loves tennis balls. Benito can spend hours with you throwing a ball and he will return it back to be thrown again. He loves his walks as well. Benito is an easy going boy who doesnt ask for much. All he wants is love and attention. Benito is his fosters sidekick. He travels well in the car, walks easily on leash, and sleeps great in his crate. Benito is fairly quiet and doesnt bark much. He is very well mannered and learns his routine quickly. He enjoys any opportunity to cuddle with you during downtime and after ball playtime. According to his foster, he is perfect.
