Story
Lili is a 4 year old, 15 lb Miniature Schnauzer/Shih Tzu mix (per her previous owner) who recently joined our rescue. She came to us when a co-worker of one of our fosters reached out for help because her owner had to leave the country to enter assisted living. Her foster mom shares that Lili is a total Velcro dog who wants to stay within a couple of feet of her person at all times. She absolutely loves being in a lap or snuggled right up next to someone. Lili is nervous around children so she will need an adult only home. She does well around other dogs but isn’t interested in playing and can become nervous around overly excited or hyper pups. She’s happiest with calm dogs who respect her space, and she will let them know if they get too close for comfort. Lili would also do just fine as an only dog, as she has been for the past three years. Lili is potty trained, though she may have a small piddle when she gets excited or scared. She can be a little nervous when first approached or picked up but warms up quickly once she feels safe. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night, although she would much prefer to be curled up in bed with her person. If you’re interested in adopting Lili, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org  *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2693614##

Story
Bucky has been with the rescue for over a month, and this 9 month old puppy has come a long way in his foster home. Once fearful and unsure, he has settled in and shown himself to be a sweet, playful pup who enjoys being around people and is eager to please. His foster mom says, “Bucky is such a sweetheart. When he first arrived, he was nervous and followed me everywhere, worried I might leave. Now he has settled into our routine and understands that when I go to work, I’ll be back. He gets so excited when I come home and is always ready for love, attention, and plenty of belly rubs!” Bucky loves spending his days playing with the other dogs in his foster home, chasing balls around the backyard, and hanging with his foster dad in the office. He will need another playful dog in his forever home.  He’s also learning that adventures are fun! Bucky is working on his leash manners and has discovered that trips to the dog park are exciting. And now that the weather is warming up, we’ve learned he absolutely loves water. Whenever his foster mom waters the plants, Bucky is right there begging to join in the fun! Bucky is kennel trained and potty trained. He is a German Shepherd/Poodle/Golden Retriever mix and currently weighs about 55 lbs.    If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org   *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex.
