Very friendly, energetic with other dogs just needs time to open up. Microchipped but not assigned. Transitioning from pee pad to outside. Over all a good boy. Sad to give away only due to lack of time for him now due to traveling for work.

Story
I was introduced to Kai in 2024. He is the best dog you could have. He gives me no problems. My children love him and he is very gentle with children of all ages. He has been around other dogs and has no problem. He loves to cuddle and adores attention. He is very well trained with the potty. He will always come to you when he has to go potty. I want him to have a nice loving home.

Story
Adrian recently had a dental cleaning and a mass removal on his shoulder. He is healing beautifully and ready to find his forever home. Adrian is 14 years old, weighs 40 lbs and is looking for a special home that understands the needs of a senior dog. Adrian is a sweet, affectionate little shadow who wants to be wherever his person is. He’s a true velcro dog, if you move, he’s right behind you. His favorite place is curled up next to you on the couch, and if he can’t be there, he will happily settle at your feet. He also loves donut-style beds and cozy enclosed spaces, and often chooses to nap in the hallway. Despite his age, Adrian still enjoys a short game of fetch if the ball is tossed right in front of him. He walks beautifully on a leash and stays right by your side. As a senior, Adrian does have some special needs. He has limited vision, especially at night, and can become disoriented. The veterinarian believes some of his pacing and nighttime howling may be related to pain, cognitive decline, or a combination of both. Because he doesn’t always know where he is and can’t see well, he may bump into furniture, walls, or other dogs. His current medications include: • Gabapentin 200 mg every 12 hours for pain (can be given up to 3 times daily if needed) • Denamarin once daily for liver support • Trazodone 100 mg at bedtime, given with Gabapentin if he is pacing or howling at night Adrian prefers soft foods, though he will occasionally crunch on treats. He isn’t very interested in toys or bones. Grooming is important for Adrian’s comfort. His coat must be kept short, especially during warm weather, as he overheats easily. Hair around his eyes should be trimmed so he can see, and his paws should be kept neat to help him maintain traction while wearing his Tiger Toes. He tolerates his ear cleaning, and regular grooming helps keep him comfortable. Adrian is looking for a calm, loving home where he can spend his golden years being someone’s constant companion. He may require a little extra care, but he gives plenty of love in return. Adrian needs someone that works from home or is home the majority of the day. He does fantastic with other dogs, but if there is another dog in the home they need to be gentle and low energy. Story
Phineas is such a sweet and happy little boy! Full of energy and so affectionate. He hasn’t met a stranger and is usually the first to greet you at the door, trying desperately to jump up for some attention. When he’s in your arms, he is squirmy with excitement and showers you in kisses. He can be a little guarded when meeting new dogs but warms up within minutes. Once he feels comfortable with the dog, it’s game over. He loves to play and snuggle with them, and he’d love a canine companion to continue that with in his forever home. He is also a big fan of cuddling with his people and has puppy-eyed his way into sleeping in bed at night. Phineas hasn’t had a single accident in the house and will even go to the back door to let us know he needs to go potty. He also caught on to kennel training very easily, but we certainly get an earful each time we return home. True to his breed, he has found his voice, so he wouldn’t be suited for apartment living. Phineas has been such an easy addition to foster and always makes us smile with his happy-go-lucky attitude. He is such a wonderful little puppy who will make his forever family very lucky!” Phineas is 6 month olds old and weighs 8 lbs. We DNA tested his brother and per wisdom panel, he is a mix of 8 different breeds with the top breeds being 50% Chihuahua, 22% Shih Tzu and 17% Miniature Poodle. He is expected to weigh between 11-22 lbs when full grown. If you’re interested in adding him to your family, please submit an adoption application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex.
