A woman who is now very old. I do not have the ability to care for him or give him a good life. All he wants in life is to be with a human 24/7. He wants to never leave you. To be your constant companion.

Hazel is a 12 mo, medium sized puppy who is equal parts sweet, goofy, and full of life! This bouncy girl is a total lovebug with her people and just one big, nutty goofball at heart. She is eager to please, but like many young, energetic pups, she is still learning how to channel all that enthusiasm. Hazel adores other dogs, but is a bit too loud and bouncy for cats. She is very smart, treat-motivated, and responds well to consistent correction and structure. Hazel does still like to jump up when excited, so she will need adopters who can be firm but loving, and give her basic obedience training. A home with routine, consistency, and plenty of exercise will set her up for success. Hazel is very good with her family but is reactive to strangers. It may take her a bit to feel comfortable with a stranger. At her core, Hazel is a fun-loving, affectionate pup who just needs an active forever home that can give her structure, adventures, and all the love she deserves.

(01/04/26) FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Haunter! Haunter is a 4-year-old, 15 lb Shih Tzu/Pekingese mix with the cutest little underbite and a soft, fluffy coat. He’ll need a home committed to regular grooming to keep him comfortable and looking his best. Haunter came to us from a difficult past where he missed out on early socialization, and because of that, the outside world can feel overwhelming for him. He is very fearful in unfamiliar environments, especially with loud noises and busy surroundings, and he will need continued support learning the basics—including leash walking—at his own pace. For this reason, Haunter will do best in a standalone home with a fully fenced yard. Apartments or high-traffic living situations would not be a good fit for him. At heart, Haunter is a gentle, loving boy who just wants to feel safe. He loves being close to his person, enjoys being held, and prefers a calm, predictable lifestyle. He has not shown to be a high-energy or playful dog and would thrive in a quiet home where he can move at his own pace while slowly building confidence with the world. Haunter would do well as an only dog with an adopter committed to patient, positive socialization, or in a home with a laid-back, calm dog companion who can peacefully coexist and help him feel more secure. He will need a patient, understanding adopter—ideally someone experienced with shy or fearful dogs—who can help him learn that the world doesn’t have to be scary. This sweet boy has so much love to give and is looking for a soft place to land with someone who will give him the time, structure, and compassion he deserves. Haunter is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Ash walks well on leash, is treat motivated, and enjoys getting out for daily walks and little adventures with her people. She’s just as happy tagging along for outings as she is curling up on the couch for cuddle time—and she absolutely loves being held! This sweet girl will need a home committed to keeping up with her grooming so she can look and feel her best. She’s a wonderful little companion who would thrive in a home that wants a loving dog to share both active days and cozy evenings. Ash would do well in a home as an only dog with continued socialization, or she could do great as an additional dog in the home.
