Story
Anya was adopted from a rescue agency in Southern California nine years ago for my wife, who was battling cancer at the time. My wife has now passed and I have had to relocate to the Seattle area to be near family. The ADU in which I'm now living does not have a fenced yard, and Anya has always been used to going in and out as she pleases. Anya is now a senior dog and has lost her hearing, but is in otherwise good health. If allowed to go outside or if walked regularly she will not pee or poo in the house, but she does have accidents if left alone for too long.

Story
**If you`re interested in meeting, please fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-Pet and we will be in touch to schedule an appointment**Meet Babygirl! She is a sweet and energetic 6-month-old female doodle who is ready to find a loving new home. Babygirl is a playful, active, and friendly young dog who has successfully lived with other dogs and enjoys being part of the action. She’s an indoor/outdoor pup who loves to explore and has the typical doodle enthusiasm for life.Babygirl weighs about 44 pounds and is still very much a puppy at heart. She listens especially well to woman, and with a little consistency and training she’ll grow into a wonderful companion. One of Babygirl’s best traits is that she’s a great alert dog—she’ll bark when someone comes to the door, letting you know when visitors arrive. She does have a tendency to escape the yard or jump fences, so a secure home and supervision during outdoor time will help keep her safe. Her current owner loves her but can no longer give her the time and attention she deserves due to work and upcoming job training. Babygirl would thrive in a home where she can be part of daily life, get plenty of exercise, and continue learning good manners. If you’re looking for a fun, loyal, and lively companion to grow with your family, Babygirl might be the perfect match.medical info; This dog is walking well with no signs of pain or lameness. She is extremely active and has good muscle tone. At times she shows a mild “bunny-hopping” gait in her hind legs, but her right hip has normal range of motion, no instability, and no discomfort during examination.X-rays show a previously healed avulsion fracture of the right greater trochanter. The fracture line is still faintly visible, but the bone is considered reattached and healing appropriately. Given how active she is, the veterinarian notes that if it were not healing, the bone fragment would likely be more displaced. There is no indication for treatment at this time, and she is clinically doing very well. She is cleared for adoption as-is.She currently has a mild, soft swelling under her spay incision that is consistent with a seroma. This is not painful and typically resolves on its own but may improve faster with reduced activity. A recheck in about 2 days is recommended.A previous exam documented that several months ago she was reportedly stepped on and injured her right rear leg.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bubbles, a little Shih Tzu puppy with a fluffy coat, a playful personality, and absolutely no understanding of personal space yet. Bubbles’ mom came to us as a stray in terrible condition — severely matted, neglected, and very pregnant. Shortly after arriving in rescue, she gave birth to four puppies. Sadly, one puppy didn’t survive, but Bubbles and the remaining siblings have grown into healthy, happy puppies now looking for forever homes. Born on February 28, 2026, Bubbles is curious, playful, and into all the normal puppy things like toys, exploring, and getting distracted every five seconds. Like any puppy, she’ll need basic training including housebreaking, crate training, leash walking, and learning manners as she grows up. Her future family also needs to be prepared for grooming. Shih Tzus require frequent brushing and regular grooming appointments to prevent painful matting, especially around the behind area. Puppy coats are often even more work while the adult coat comes in, so staying on top of grooming is really important for dogs like Bubbles. Bubbles is neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and microchipped—he’s all set for his next chapter. His adoption fee is $600. Apply to adopt Bubbles at: www.adoggie4you.org Bubbles is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast. There is an additional $250 transport fee. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 1, 2026, 9:42 am
