A woman who is now very old. I do not have the ability to care for him or give him a good life. All he wants in life is to be with a human 24/7. He wants to never leave you. To be your constant companion.

Meet Randy — A Sweet Senior Looking for a Cozy Home Randy is a precious 14-year-old, 12 lb Mini Poodle/Maltese mix who came to us after his elderly owner could no longer care for him. This transition has been big for him, but his loving spirit shines through—he is truly sweet as can be. Randy is used to having someone home with him most of the time, and he would thrive in a quiet, low-key home where he can enjoy companionship, comfort, and plenty of cuddles. He gets along well with other dogs but would also be perfectly content as an only dog, soaking up all the love for himself. This gentle boy is hoping for a cozy foster or forever home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by kindness and care. He will need regular grooming to keep him comfortable and looking his best. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion and have room in your heart and home for a senior, Randy would love nothing more than to curl up beside you and be your loyal friend. Randy is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. He will be receiving a dental prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $300.

(01/04/26) FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Haunter! Haunter is a 4-year-old, 15 lb Shih Tzu/Pekingese mix with the cutest little underbite and a soft, fluffy coat. He’ll need a home committed to regular grooming to keep him comfortable and looking his best. Haunter came to us from a difficult past where he missed out on early socialization, and because of that, the outside world can feel overwhelming for him. He is very fearful in unfamiliar environments, especially with loud noises and busy surroundings, and he will need continued support learning the basics—including leash walking—at his own pace. For this reason, Haunter will do best in a standalone home with a fully fenced yard. Apartments or high-traffic living situations would not be a good fit for him. At heart, Haunter is a gentle, loving boy who just wants to feel safe. He loves being close to his person, enjoys being held, and prefers a calm, predictable lifestyle. He has not shown to be a high-energy or playful dog and would thrive in a quiet home where he can move at his own pace while slowly building confidence with the world. Haunter would do well as an only dog with an adopter committed to patient, positive socialization, or in a home with a laid-back, calm dog companion who can peacefully coexist and help him feel more secure. He will need a patient, understanding adopter—ideally someone experienced with shy or fearful dogs—who can help him learn that the world doesn’t have to be scary. This sweet boy has so much love to give and is looking for a soft place to land with someone who will give him the time, structure, and compassion he deserves. Haunter is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Pesto is a 1.5-year-old, 12 lb Poodle mix with a sweet, active, spunky, playful, and delightfully goofy personality looking for a young and active family to keep up with him! Pesto absolutely adores people and loves being held, staying close to his person, and soaking up attention. He also does great with other dogs and would be very happy in a home with a canine companion to play with and help boost his confidence. He could also do well as an only dog as long as his adopters continue to prioritize socialization and dog-friendly outings. He’s still gaining confidence with the outside world and will need continued work on leash walking, house training, and basic house manners. Pesto will require regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and comfortable. He has not been tested with cats or children. Pesto is a loving, playful little companion who will thrive in an active home ready to help him build confidence, keep him engaged, and give him plenty of playtime and affection along the way!
