Story
Finn is 2 and was adopted in November 2025. I had no background, but quickly found out he was very fearful of crates & being hit. He also had extreme separation anxiety & wasn’t house trained. However, he loves to cuddle & get attention. He is 14 lbs, is now completely house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and can tolerate brief periods of alone time (up to 15 minutes). I've been working with a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer for the past 2 months, slowly desensitizing him to being alone. We're up to 15 minutes. Still, he needs a home where someone is always home, as he sometimes does panic, still. I will only agree to adopt him to someone who is able to always be home, preferably someone retired. When I adopted him, my job was remote. I now have to go into the office, again. That’s the only reason I’m rehoming him. He does ok at daycare, but it's too much for him all the time. There is fear still for nail trims and vet visits. He needs patience & love, but is a complete sweetie
