Beatrice is a sweet, friendly dog who was found wandering alone along a highway. Because she was a stray, everything about her is a mystery. We don't know what breed mix she is, how she's like with other animals, if she's trained, or when she was born. We can only estimate, which we think about 3-4 years old and Shih Tzu mix. Despite arriving at the shelter dirty and matted, her cheerful, loving personality never faltered. She weighs 11 lbs under all that matted fur (we took care of that, so now that it's short, it can grow back beautifully!) Shes an affectionate little girl who enjoys human companionship and greets everyone with a wagging tail. Beatrices gentle nature and positive spirit make her an absolute joy to be around. Beatrice will be ready for her forever home after her stray hold is up on 2/11 and she is spayed on 2/18. We are accepting applications for her now in case no one comes forward for her. Her $350 adoption fee helps cover her spay surgery, vaccinations, and microchipping; everything she needs to start her next chapter healthy and happy. While their journey left him a bit tangled up, it certainly didnt dampen his sweet spirit! Right now, Hoggles coat is matted and in need of some TLC, but underneath is a darling little guy whos ready to shine. Despite everything, hes in wonderful spirits; curious, friendly, and so happy to be safe. His bright eyes and wagging tail show just how much love he has to give. At his young age, Hoggle is still very much a puppy at heart. Hell likely thrive in a home ready to help him learn, grow, and blossom into the confident companion hes meant to be. Meet Sarah, a sweet and resilient 3-4 year old Shih Tzu mix. Sarah arrived at the shelter in rough shape, suffering from extreme matting that required a full shave to make her comfortable again. She is now ready to find a "furever" home where she will be pampered for the rest of her days. Because of her coat type, Sarahs new family will need to be diligent about monthly professional grooming to keep her feeling and looking her absolute best. Sarah is currently on a stray hold 2/21 to give a previous owner a chance to claim her. If no one comes forward, she will be officially available for adoption! We are currently accepting applications for her though. She arrived at the shelter alongside several other dogslikely her grown puppiesso we believe she is social with other canines. However, we do have resident dogs come for the meet-and-greet to ensure everyone gets along. Other than that, her new family will have the pleasure of learning all about her.
