MEET RIDGE - A PERFECT LITTLE COMPANION! (located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL) This little guy has just come into our care - an owner surrender. He's cute as a button, and one of the best behaved dogs I have EVER fostered; doesn't bark, doesn't beg, can dance on his hind legs for treats - loves EVERYONE, gives nibble kisses, loves to play, loves other dogs (big & small), loves cats AND kids, comes when he is called AND loves being on your lap! He is about 16 months old - and full grown at 6 lbs. - The breeder's papers say he is a Blue Shih Tzu. He is up to date on all vaccines, chipped and recently neutered! Due to an old injury, he does have dry eye which requires drops daily. But he has a calm demeanor and lets you administer the drops with ease. He is not totally housebroken - but in a home with less activity and more one-on-one time, we are confident he can be trained. Bubbles was born 5/14/25. She is outgoing and friendly. She LOVES everyone. She weighs 6 lbs. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. We are working on housetraining and leash walking. She is a very sweet and playful cuddle buddy. Adoption fee is 950.00. Located in the south. She was surrendered to rescue because she became too old to be sold in a store. There are no known health issues Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a $20.00 donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Casper foster update: Casper and Mack have been back with us for about a week. They are happy boys and while they sleep quite a bit, they also love to be outside and with their people. They can get quite loud so would probably be best in a home without shared walls. While they are housetrained for the most part, we have noticed some marking and have seen Casper use a pee pad. They can be very underfoot so this needs to be taken into consideration by any prospective adopters. Being distinguished seniors, they have their share of lumps and bumps as is to be expected. Mack and Casper lost their mom recently and were brought to Judy. They are adorable furbabies and should be adopted together so they do not have even more loss in their lives. We would like them to have a fenced yard. They love running around in the yard and are so joyful doing so. They run around in the yard and then are ready for a good nap! We are still learning about them as they just arrived and will up date their pages as we learn more.
