Hi friends! My name is Turtle and I'm looking for a family to enjoy my golden years with. I'm around 9 years old and think there's many advantages to adopting a perfectly aged dog like me. For example, I'm fully potty trained and enjoy the simple things in life, such as snuggling and siestas on the couch in the afternoon. I also REALLY enjoy food time and have been told I make the most hilarious face while eagerly awaiting my dinner bowl. While I take a bit for me to warm up, once I do I'll be your shadow. I love my foster dad and snuggle up to him every night. My people are my favorite thing and I hate being separated from them. The good news is that I enjoy car rides and would love to ride along with my new family for errands and adventures. It would also be super fun if my family is up for short walks when the weather is nice outside. Turtle is 14 lbs and has a 6 out of 6 heart murmur. He takes medication for the heart murmur and his new family will need to be able to afford the 2 meds. However, he has no apparent symptoms and is just a sweet, easy pup! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. A fenced yard is required to adopt Turtle (no underground fences). Daphne is a sweet little soul who has a lot of spunk for her 10 years. She is independent but very happy. Her left eye had to be removed and she has limited vision in the right eye but that doesn't stop her from exploring outdoors or playing with friends. Lying in the sun on the deck is another favorite. She is mellow and the best mix of active and chill. Daphne loves to be around her people, curling up beside them in bed every night. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar.  They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. Skipper was born Sept 2023. Adorable and friendly! he should be under 15 lbs as an adult. he loves everyone including dogs and children! Surrendered with sibling. They became too old to sell to a store. They were surrendered to rescue for that reason. Needs work on housetraining. They are currently in boarding in the midwest. Transport is available to the NE or south. Adoption fee is 950.00 and includes transport.    Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a  $20.00  donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year.     Hi, dog lovers, especially small ones. Dogs, not small people. Haha! Small humans are also great, although I haven’t been around many.  I’m new to Angels, so I took a few days to get my bearings. But now I’m ready to tell you about me.  I’m supposed to be some terrier-poodle mix. Foster Mom wonders if there’s some Dachshund hiding in me. I don’t know; that’s just what the humans say. I’m 4 years old and really sweet, love being loved on and a pretty good lap warmer.  I’m mostly potty trained, but really just trying to get my Foster Mom to get with my program. I like toys and especially playing fetch, but I love going outside. I can play fetch there, too, and have more room to run. The terrier in me loves to sniff stuff outside. What kind of dog are you looking for? I’m really pretty happy but still a little jumpy after my stint at the vet’s. I'm not a big fan of vets! My foster home is much more relaxing and quiet. I like to relax! I also like to bark when I hear stuff outside that might be a danger to my people or greet you when you come home so you can start paying attention to me. Foster Mom says condominiums and apartments might not be the best for me.  So, if you think I’m your kind of guy, you need to apply for me. The Angel people will do the rest.
