🐾 Meet Shiro – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Next Loving Home Meet Shiro, an 8-year-old Shih Tzu with a gentle heart and perfect manners. He is extremely friendly with kids, dogs, and strangers—very social, playful, and always eager to please. Shiro is obedient, never aggressive, and rarely barks (only at unfamiliar sounds or the occasional animal on TV). He is fully potty trained and clearly communicates his needs for food, water, and potty breaks. Shiro is low-maintenance and never demanding, yet he enjoys occasional attention and affection. He loves running around the backyard chasing leaves and happily playing with kids and other dogs. He has been a loving child to our family, and with a heavy heart, we are looking to rehome him as we are relocating out of the country. We hope to find caring parents who can provide him the same love, comfort, and safe home he deserves. Looking for a gentle, friendly, well-mannered companion? Meet Cassie Quinn , an 8-year-old Shih Tzu, 15-pound bundle of joy who brightens every room she enters! This happy girl is always smiling—she grins with her whole face and keeps her tongue out like she’s posing for a photo. Her joy is contagious, and she’ll fill your home with love and laughter. Cassie adores being outside, going for walks, and running playful laps around the house during her daily zoomies. A fenced yard or plenty of indoor space to romp around would make her happiest. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys both leisurely strolls and bursts of playful energy. When it’s time to relax, Cassie loves lounging on her pet bed. She’s crate trained and sometimes tucks herself in at night, though she’s perfectly fine sleeping outside her crate too. Cassie is pee-pad trained and working on transitioning back to going potty outdoors. She gets along well with small and medium dogs and previously lived with two Shih Tzus. Cassie would also be happy as an only dog, as long as someone is home most of the time—she craves company and can be quite vocal when left alone. Because of that, she’s best suited for a single-family home (no apartments or townhouses, please). Cassie is friendly with men, women, and kids of all ages, though she’s a bit shy at first and needs a moment to warm up. She’s best with families or active seniors who enjoy walks but can assist her with stairs—she manages short step-downs fine but can’t climb full flights. Health-wise, she recently had a small skin infection that was treated (the vet had to shave the area), and she’ll soon have a dental cleaning, likely with a few teeth removed. One of her back legs sticks out a little when she squats, but it doesn’t slow her down at all. Cassie Quinn is a cheerful, affectionate companion who’s ready to share her endless smiles with a loving family—her happiness truly shines from the inside out! Kiwi was born 5/30/25. She is sweet and sassy, a perfect little girl! She is friendly and social with everyone. She likes playing with her toys. She is great with older children. She needs work on housetraining. She is smart and catches on quickly. Adoption fee is 950.00. Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Chance is a lovable 3-year-old Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix with a heart as big as his sweet personality. Chance has a head tremor caused by a congenital cerebellar lesion, but it doesn’t slow him down at all. , This was confirmed by a neurology consultation. He’s a happy, affectionate little guy who enjoys life at a relaxed, low-to-moderate energy pace—happy to play a little, go on short walks, or just curl up for cuddles and quiet companionship. He is house-trained and crate-trained, gets along beautifully with dogs, kids, and cats, and greets everyone he meets with warmth and friendliness. Chance is looking for a loving forever home where he can share his gentle, loyal heart every single day. Chance is currently undergoing treatments for heartworm disease. Until he has completed his treatments and is fully recovered, Chance is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area; He must be able to come to Furkids' shelter for treatments. Chance weighs 13lbs and is approximately 3 years old (est. birth date 09/24/2022). Chance has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
