This adorable 15-month-old Shih Tzu mix weighs 16 pounds and may just be the absolute perfect dog. Jacob has never met a stranger and truly does great with everything he meets... literally! His easygoing, affectionate personality makes him a wonderful companion for just about anyone. He has had a summer hair cut so he now looks a bit different. Jacob's favorite place in the world is right next to his people. He loves to cuddle and will happily lay pressed up against you, content just being close. Being with his family is what makes him happiest, and he has so much love to give. In addition to being incredibly sweet, Jacob has excellent manners. He is kennel trained, house broken, and knows how to use a dog door. He transitions easily into new routines and is ready to become a beloved member of his forever family. Because of his adaptable nature and loving personality, Jacob would thrive in almost any type of home. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 1Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
