Story
Willow Rose is an 8-year-old, 11.5-pound Shih Tzu with a personality just as beautiful as her name. Although she cannot see the world around her, she has mastered the art of being calm, gentle, and quietly present. Her favorite pastime is snoozing the day away or curling up right beside her person on the sofa while they work. Willow is blind, and that means she needs an adopter who understands that learning a new home’s layout will take time, maybe even months. Accidents will happen until she gets her bearings, and even then she may miss the mark on occasion. If you can be patient with her, she will reward you with endless quiet companionship. She gets along well with other dogs, doesn’t try to leap off furniture since she is smart enough to know her limits, and is as low-maintenance as they come. Willow isn’t perfect; she would prefer you keep the fancy rugs rolled up, and she is not a fan of grass, but she is perfect for someone who values peace, gentleness, and the unconditional love of a little dog who just wants to be by your side. If you have the patience to help Willow navigate her world, you will discover a loyal, easygoing companion who will make your house feel like home. Adoption fee is: $100.00 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Meet Lima Bean 💕 Lima Bean has already been through more than her fair share in life, and now this sweet senior girl is searching for one thing: a safe, loving home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by kindness. Lima Bean is blind, but she hasn't let that dim her gentle spirit. She moves through the world with quiet trust and a heart full of love, simply looking for someone who will be patient, understanding, and willing to cherish her just as she is. Her favorite place in the world is a sunny spot by the window, where she can feel the warmth of the sun on her adorable little face before drifting off into one of her many well-earned naps. She may not have many teeth left, but that certainly doesn't stop her from enjoying mealtime or getting excited for her daily treats! Lima Bean appears to be potty-trained and will politely let you know when she needs to go outside with a little bark. Because she is both visually impaired and very petite, she will need a home without small children. For her safety, her future home should also not have a pool or other water hazards that could put her at risk. This precious girl would thrive with a retired couple, a work-from-home adopter, or anyone who spends much of their day at home and can offer her the companionship and stability she deserves. She isn't looking for adventure—just a soft bed, a warm sunbeam, gentle hands, and someone to love. Lima Bean has so much love left to give. All she asks is for a quiet place to call home and a family willing to open their hearts to a little dog who has overcome so much. Could you be the happy ending she's been waiting for? 🐾❤️ Adoption fee is: $200 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Trevor John is a healthy two year old, 14 lbs, b lack and white Shih Tzu mix. He’s crate trained, house trained, and knows how to use a doggie door. He walks well on a leash and doesn’t mind baths. He‘s a quiet boy who plays with toys and chews indoors. Outdoors Trevor turns into an alert squirrel and bird chaser. He gets along with other dogs. Trevor is reserved towards new people and will need a little time and space to feel comfortable. He is a love bug at heart. An experienced dog owner with no small children would be an ideal match for Travor John. He is fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. He’s a loving little guy who’s ready to find the perfect forever home! Adoption fee is:$350 Adoption fees are variable. Story
Buttercup is a gentle, low-key senior (+10) Shih Tzu who’s all about peace, quiet, and the sedentary life. She is looking for her (chill) human with whom she can spend the remaining years of her life. She is mostly blind and deaf. She had an eye removed and mammary tumors removed. Her foster says “she’s a special Buttercup.” She is sweet and chill. She is NOT destructive or a barker. She’s independent. Her ideal day would be relaxing on the couch next to you -you’ll need to help her up as she is not a jumper either. Buttercup is easy to manage. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She is crate trained. She is also house trained as long as you stick to a consistent schedule, otherwise she’ll have an accident. She knows how to use a doggy doorbell and will nudge it with her nose to let you know she has to go out. She will also wear a diaper as long as you put it on while she is up and about. She’s great on a leash but is slow and doesn't like walks. She would rather relax by your side. She doesn’t care for toys but she loves blankets and bunching them up. She also loves to mix up where she sleeps and changes her spot every night. She is on a special diet of salmon and rice for her sensitive skin. She waits patiently for her food and even lets other dogs take their turn first. Buttercup likes treats and dental sticks. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate friend who will fill your days with quiet joy, Buttercup is ready to give you her whole heart. Her adoption fee is $100 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
