He has been a cherished family companion for over a decade, my daughter picked him out in kindergarten, and he's been by our side ever since. Now that she's heading off to college and we're in the middle of a move, we're heartbroken but need to find him a wonderful place to land. Avery is in great health and has been well cared for throughout his life. He is intact (not neutered). At 11, he's a calm, seasoned companion who knows what love looks like and deserves to keep experiencing it. We are looking for a home that will give Avery the attention and comfort he's used to, ideally someone with experience with small breeds who understands the gentle, loyal nature of a Shih Tzu. He deserves a soft landing after a lifetime of being loved.
