She’s a very happy, snuggly girl who loves being close to her people and enjoys “talking” when she gets excited to see you. Imara loves other dogs and does well with cats. She is best suited for a home with older children who can respect her space. She’s affectionate, social, and would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can be spoiled and adored. Imara was found as a stray in very rough condition, suffering from severe chemical burns on her back, a heavy flea infestation, and significant matting with hair loss. She has healed beautifully and while she does have a scar down her back from the burns, it is barely noticeable with her hair grown out. She was born with an underdeveloped eye which does not slow her down at all or require extra care.
