Story
Small in Size, Huge in Heart – Tippy’s Ready to Be Your Everything. Tippy might be small, but his personality? Huge. This 1–2-year-old, 10-pound Shih Tzu is the perfect mix of snuggly sweetheart and resilient little champ. With one eye on you (literally!) and a heart full of love, he’s ready to hop into your life and never leave your side. Yes, Tippy only has one eye—he lost the other when he was a pup in an unfortunate encounter with another dog. But don’t worry, he’s totally fine with it! In fact, he thinks it gives him character. Pirate? Hero? Just plain adorable? All of the above. And spoiler alert: he doesn’t miss that eye one bit. Tippy is a certified pro at cuddling, handing out kisses, and being your shadow around the house. He walks like a champ on a leash, is house-trained when kept on a schedule, and has no problem sharing his space with other dogs or even cats. Crates? Meh. Not his favorite. But with how trustworthy he is, you probably won’t even need one (though he’ll tolerate it if needed). He's currently living in a bustling foster home, but what he really wants is a quieter place to call his own—with people who’ll appreciate his gentle soul and maybe a comfy lap to snooze on. Because of his petite size and sensitive nature, he'd do best in a home with kids 8 and up. Tippy isn’t just looking for a home—he’s looking for his person. Someone who sees past his missing eye and straight into the goofy, loving, snuggly little heart that makes him so incredibly special.
