Story
Meet Lotus-The Gentle Soul! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Lotus is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Lotus is a beautiful Siamese girl with a very sensitive heart. The world can feel like a big, scary place to her, so she's looking for a calm, quiet home where she can truly feel safe. She may be shy and fearful at first, but beneath that nervous exterior is a very sweet, loving cat. When given time, patience, and gentle one-on-one attention, Lotus blossoms-leaning into soft scratches and soaking up affection from someone she trusts. Lotus would do best with: -A quiet, low-traffic home -A patient adopter who will let her adjust at her own pace -Minimal noise and few sudden changes Lotus is ~2.5 years old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! We believe slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think she could learn to love a new dog friend. If you have a peaceful home and a kind heart, Lotus might be your perfect companion --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! Story
Beautiful flame point Siamese 2-1/2 years old. Takes time to warm up but is affectionate once she settles in. Very sweet but timid at first. Would do well with a quiet home that can give her attention. No other animals, no young children. She needs a home with no perfumes, dust free environment, no smokers. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Select cats can be fostered instead! Apply on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter may not be what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat. Most often, in a home, they thrive!Kitten Policy: Kittens must be able to socialize with other young cats or dogs as playmates, as it is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we do not place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet all cats or kittens available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/

Story
Meet Dusty 🌫️Dusty is a beautiful 2-year-old Siamese currently living in a loving foster home. Though she has a bit of a medical history, she is doing well with twice-daily medication to prevent seizures of unknown origin. She's quite smart and may hide when it's time for her meds, but takes it easily once her hiding spot is discovered.Despite this, Dusty is still young at heart and has a playful, curious personality. She enjoys batting around toys and exploring her surroundings, always ready for her next little adventure. Dusty also appreciates the company of other respectful cats; she may take a moment to observe before joining in, but she generally does well with calm, cat-savvy friends. This sweet girl enjoys gentle attention and likes being held and petted — especially when she’s in the mood — before she’s off again to see what’s happening around her. Dusty would do best in a patient, understanding home that is comfortable managing her medication and can appreciate her independent yet affectionate nature. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home!
