Meet Tofu, a three-year-old, 14 lb. Siamese Maine Coon with striking blue eyes and the softest, fluffiest coat. He came to us as an owner surrender when his family had to move, and he’s still adjusting to all the changes that come with such a big transition. Right now, his favorite spot is tucked away in the cat tree or up high, where he can observe everything safely as he settles into his new environment. Though he’s shy at first, Tofu has a wonderfully sweet side that shines once he feels comfortable. When trust is earned, he enjoys gentle affection—including belly rubs, which he absolutely loves. He’ll even demand it with his vocal meows. It’s a special glimpse into the affectionate companion he’s becoming. Tofu would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands he just needs a little time to feel secure. He appears to be fine with other cats, but he’s still getting used to things.
