Story
Zahara is a petite seal point Siamese who flourishes in a serene environment in an adult only household Affectionate and chatty, she enjoys curling up on your lap for cozy naps. Tragically, Zahara was abandoned in a small closet by her previous family when they moved out, despite having been raised in a home with numerous small dogs.We feel she may have been mistreated.Because of her past experiences, Zahara deserves a loving forever home where she can be the sole pet, as she does not get along with other animals. Offering her a calm and peaceful environment will allow her to truly thrive. Y ou can find our online-fillable adoption application for Zahara by visiting https://animalsforlife.org/feline-adoption-application. April 4, 2025, 6:51 pm

Story
Kya is a great conversationalist! She will greet you when you walk into the room and tell you all about her day :-) She is a gorgeous Lynx Point Siamese/mix with striking blue eyes. Kya is estimated to be 2 years old, she is a sweet and affectionate girl, she is great with other cats and loves people. Kya came into our care with her babies, she was a great attentive momma, but now is her time to shine. She is ready to be spoiled and treated like the princess she is! Kya is a medium sized girlie, she weighs around 8 lbs, she is still filling back out from having babies and being spayed. **************** PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT KYA ********************* Please copy and paste the following URL into your web browser for the adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FPSL/Cat COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please note that our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them if adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. We are USDA certified, and WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, Microchip, Mississippi Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you

Story
Don't tell these girls they aren't sisters :-) They absolutely adore one another! Dahlia is a Lynx Point Siamese/mix and is around 6 months old. She is a chatty girl, LOVES people and is very affectionate! Damsel is approximately 4 months old, she is a petite girl, loves people as well, enjoys being held and will make a great little cuddle bug. These girls are fantastic! They came into our care from a property that was not able to properly care for all of the cats. They asked us for help in getting them all vetted and cared for. These two have adopted well in our community cat room, they have grown up with other cats. If you are looking for a conversationalist and a cuddle bug, this pair will fill your heart and home with love! Their adoption/transport fee for the pair is $550 ******** PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT DAMSEL & DAHLIA ******* Transport will meet adopters in Brattleboro, VT Please copy and paste the following URL into your web browser for the adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FPSL/Cat COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. Story
Mortimer may be a little shy at first, but give him a moment and you’ll see his true colors shine through. Once he knows you’re safe, he blossoms into a loving, affectionate companion who craves attention and cuddles. This handsome guy has had a rough start—he spent time outside where he was often picked on by other cats. Because of that, he’s understandably cautious in new situations. But don’t let that scare you off—Mortimer is all heart. He just wants to feel safe and loved. Mortimer has tested positive for FIV but keep reading: FIV is only transmitted through deep blood-drawing bite wounds. FIV+ cats can happy lives in socialized multi-cat households. FIV+ cats do not have a higher incidence of illness, and live the same lifespan as non FIV+ cats. Adoption fee is $100

Story
Meet Buster, a beautiful 3-year-old Siamese who has had a rough start. For the past 4 months, he was being fed outside, and as a result, he’s understandably quite scared and wary of people. Despite his fears, Buster is a sweet soul who just needs the right person to show him that he’s safe and loved.Buster will need a patient adopter or foster who is willing to work with him and give him the time he needs to adjust. With a calm, understanding environment and consistent care, we believe Buster can learn to trust again and eventually become a loving companion. If you’re someone who has experience with shy, fearful cats and can provide Buster with the space and patience he needs to feel secure, he could be the perfect fit for you. With time, Buster will flourish in a safe, loving home, and we can’t wait to see him become the confident, affectionate cat he’s meant to be. Come meet Buster and help him on his journey to finding his forever home! This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Please consider fostering a cat or dog by applying on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care.
