Story
Meet Meiling, a gentle soul with a story that tugs at your heart. When Mei first arrived in early September, she weighed just over 4 pounds—so thin and fragile, we weren’t sure she’d make it. But this little fighter has flourished in her devoted foster home, gaining weight and strength until she now tips the scales at a healthy 7 pounds. She’s still got a few reminders of those tough times—sometimes she’s a bit wobbly if she dashes or makes a big leap—but Mei’s spirit is unmistakable. She’s looking for a peaceful home where quiet moments are the norm. Young children and loud noises make her nervous, so she’d do best in a calm setting. Mei gets along with dogs and male cats but likes to do her own thing, watching the world from a cozy spot rather than chasing after toys. She’s not one to wrestle or roughhouse, but she’s happiest just being part of the family. Thanks to plenty of pampering (and maybe a bit of spoiling), Mei now expects her gourmet wet and dry meals twice a day—she’s earned it! She adores being brushed and will purr and “chat” her way through every grooming session. In her foster home, she’s come out of her shell and shown how sweet and loving she can be. Mei is ready for her new beginning. A patient, caring home will help her blossom even further. If your heart is open and you think you might be the right person for Mei, we’d love for you to apply today.

Story
We were contacted about this beautiful friendly boy that showed up at a feral colony that was being fed. He was too nice to leave outside. We took him in and after 30 plus days of quarantine, we tested him for fiv/felv. The test showed a very faint positive for leukemia so we ran an additional test - here is what the report said: "These quantitative results are below 1.0x10^6 copies/mL and consistent with a regressive FeLV infection. Regressive FeLV infections are associated with lower levels of proviral DNA in circulating blood cells and lower amounts of FeLV p27 antigen in circulation. Cats with regressive infections are less likely to be infectious to other cats or to be sick due to an FeLV-associated disease. Cats with regressive infections may transmit FeLV by blood transfusion even if antigen negative. Cats with regressive infection may remain nonclinical or may revert to progressive infection in association with immunosuppression, stress or concurrent disease. Regressively infected cats may mount a sufficient immune response to eventually become PCR and/or antigen negative." SOOOO- he is in a room by himself. We have him on a couple of supplements so hopefully he can fight off the leukemia. He is just so darn nice! He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and otherwise very healthy. Care to give this special boy a chance? He should be an only cat until we can retest in a few months.... Adoption fee $60. Born likely spring of 2024. Story
Talia is a beautiful lynx point Siamese that was living outside.  She was trapped and fixed, but she was way too friendly to put back outside.  Talia is an absolute love bug and super affectionate.    She loves her chin scratches and has the most beautiful markings and blue eyes.  Talia is a very calm, loving sweetheart that wants a loving quiet home. Unfortunately, Talia  tested positive for feline leukemia but we have her on a few supplements to help her have a healthy life as long as possible. She still would need to be the only cat in the household as leukemia is contagious to other cats. If you’re looking for just one cat and a gorgeous Siamese that has the best personality in the world she is your girl.  She is fully vaccinated , spayed and tested negative for FIV and microchipped . She would not do good with very young children or dog .  If you want to be that special someone to give this sweet, absolutely loving, precious little girl a chance at a wonderful forever, loving home . Story
Moonshine is one cool cat.  He was living outside on the east side of town, but his caretaker moved to Texas and could not take him with her other pets.  She contacted us and we took him in - this was back in 2021. He was adopted out but came back to us recently - his owner had lost her job and sadly could not keep him. Moonshine is affectionate and very social.  He settled right in at his foster home - great with other cats! He will roll around in front of you ......flirting for attention! He is good with other cats, but likely not dogs.  He was likely born fall of 2019....has beautiful blue eyes, and is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv.  Adoption fee $60. Story
Minky is a 6 year old Flame Point Siamese, his birthday is mid-May. He grew up in a household with one small dog and one large dog. He was re-homed with me when he was 4 years old because his family had adopted an 8 year old and he was not doing well with it. When living with me he had two cat brothers. He got along with the smaller cat better because of his anxiety. He does not do well with change. Any relocation or the addition of new characters to the household. He will act sweet for the first 24 hours of change and then he does freak out a bit. He does hiss, but he has never bitten or scratched me, apart from love nibbles. What works best is to have a specific spot for him, whether it’s a large kennel (which I can provide for you to take) or a spare room. He needs a safe space to calm down. He is litter box trained, however he needs it to be cleaned daily like clockwork. Only re-homing because I am in an unsafe home environment and need to leave. He loves feliway and catnip!
