Nube and her sister Emma were recently surrendered by their owners simply because the family didn't want to care for them.  They are greet little kitties. Still only 1 year old.  I have dozens more pictures.  they don't need to stay together but if you are adopting only 1, you sould have another cat. They are doing great together in foster.  They get along well with the other cats and don't mind the dogs. ##2767469##

PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING We transport kittens from South Florida. There is an epidemic of cat overpopulation in South Florida. Tens of thousands of cats & kittens suffer needlessly & need a home. We transport & adopt kittens & cats that have no chance in South Florida. Please note - we are the only legal Florida rescue importer in the state of Mass. We have 3 professional transporters deliver your kitties safely to you. One person is always in the back monitoring the health & well-being of your animal. Although we love dogs they are NEVER on our transport as it adds time & stress for your kitties. Be sure to ask questions of any rescue transporting. Are they legal & how are they transported. There is a big difference. We also use flight angels. Kind volunteers who bring a cat or kitten on a plane ride as their carry-on luggage. We are so grateful for good people. We try to get the kittens as close as we can by air. TO ADOPT A KITTEN, YOU MUST ADOPT IN PAIRS OR HAVE A YOUNG CAT. Our adoption guidelines: Must be 25 years old Must adopt young kittens (6 months or less) you must have a young cat or dog or adopt in pairs UNLESS otherwise stated. Must be a previous cat owner. Must have a vet we can speak to. CT license AIR 000534 MA charity #080383 MA licensed importer #68 USDA # 88-T-0895 You need to meet Cindy & Cowboy! Cindy is a Siamese mix and her brother Cowboy is a tuxedo with the personality of a Siamese and the colors of a cow. They both have super silky, soft coats. They were born approximately May 2025 outside. They and their mom were fed by a human who cared for them, but who didn't hold them much. So when I got them to do TNR, I wanted to keep them for a week or two to see how they would do inside. If they had to be returned to the outside, they would be fed but they would have to live with toads and cigarette butts and no vet care ever. With time, they started to trust their foster and started getting comfortable. And 3 months later, they're still on the more shy side, but they have learned to trust. They love to be petted and they purr up a storm, but hey do not like to be picked up, and they're not lap cats. The first time they see someone new, Cowboy will hiss as a greeting, but that soon goes away. Cowboy loves to play and chase any feather toy on a string. He gets so excited and runs and runs even if he is out of breath he "Must get feather". He is very funny and talks a lot. He also loves to roll around and be petted. Belly rubs are his favorite. He purrs super loudly and enjoys attention. Cindy is the more quiet sister. She is more of an observer, but will come out to play once her brother has gotten all of the attention he demands and is exhausted from sprinting after the toys. She loves cheek scratches and purrs up a storm as well. She is a bit more reserved than Cowboy but still enjoys love and attention. They are very bonded. Once his sister ran out of the foster room, Cowboy didn't stop crying until his sister decided come back from her excursion. They are both on the smaller side for their age. Can you find it in your heart to put in an application and meet these adorable kittens?

Story
Azul is a stud muffin of a big boy cat. We don’t know what is bigger – his beautiful blue eyes or his enormous round head. We estimate him to weigh around 15 lbs and believe he is around 5-6 years old. Azul was found roaming a neighborhood along the Texas Mexico border, where a good Samaritan saw him and knew she had to help him. He was super scrawny, covered in fleas, tons of missing hair and scabs all over his body. After about 6 weeks, Azul is fully healed, all of his hair has grown back, and he is ready for his forever home. Despite his age, he is very playful and active. He loves to be around people and loves to play with his toys. Cuddling is one of his favorite things. Azul is in a foster home where he is around other cats and dogs. Even though he is big, he gets along wonderfully with other cats! He has met dogs in the current foster home and has no issues with them. He can live happily with other dogs and cats in the home! Azul would love to be a lap cat and be loved every day and all day. He does NOT mark. Azul is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and given a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption/transport. PLEASE READ ABOUT AZUL: Azul is a sweet, gentle soul who has recently tested positive for FIV. This means he needs an indoor-only home where he can be pampered and live a long, healthy life. FIV-positive cats are often the most affectionate! Azul is a total lovebug who is looking for a cozy spot to nap and a family to love. Don't let FIV scare you — it's just a label, not a limitation! He is a very healthy boy that you would not even know had FIV if not for the test. Most cats don’t show symptoms! Please consider reading some facts about FIV and let us know if you would still like to be considered for his adoption. Azul is ready to bring joy to your home. We look forward to hearing back from you. Here are some facts and information to help you learn about FIV: FIV is Not a Death Sentence: FIV is a slow-acting virus that affects a cat's immune system, not a death sentence. Many FIV+ cats live long, normal lives (10-15+ years) and never show symptoms. Perfectly Safe for Families: FIV is not transmissible to humans, dogs, or other non-feline pets. Debunking Myths About Transmission of FIV: Casual Contact is Safe: Contrary to popular belief, FIV is not spread through litter boxes, water bowls, or grooming. Mainly Spreads Through Fighting: The virus is primarily passed through deep, penetrating bite wounds, usually among unneutered, aggressive strays. Safe to Live with Negative Cats: In a stable, non-aggressive home, FIV+ cats can live peacefully with FIV-negative cats. https://www.awlnsw.com.au/find-out-more-about-adopting-an-fiv-cat/ https://bestfriends.org/pet-care-resources/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqs Prior to adopting him, he will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. Story
Meet Tiptoe 💫True to her name, Tiptoe moves through the world slowly, carefully, and on her own terms.Tiptoe came from a home with more than 100 cats, where she didn’t have the chance to learn that humans can be safe, kind, and predictable. Because of that, she is an incredibly sensitive and shy girl who is still figuring out how to trust.Right now, Tiptoe prefers the comfort of her hidey spots, where she can observe the world from a safe distance. But she is making progress. She will venture out for her favorite things, especially food. Churu is the way to her heart. She has even come out for short play sessions with a wand toy when she is feeling brave. While people still feel a little overwhelming, Tiptoe finds comfort in the company of other cats. Having feline friends helps her feel more secure and gives her the confidence to explore her surroundings and try new things.Tiptoe is not a cat who will seek out attention or ask to be pet right now. She may not for a long time, and that is okay. What she needs is an adopter who truly understands shy cats and is willing to meet her where she is. Someone patient, gentle, and committed to letting her move at her own pace without expectations. With time, consistency, and a steady supply of Churu, we are hopeful Tiptoe will continue to build confidence and trust. She has already made a lot of progress in her foster home, and we know her journey is just beginning.Tiptoe would do best in a home with a confident feline companion who can help show her the ropes and reassure her that the world isn't such a scary place. She seems to have a preference for male cats, but we would absolutely consider a female friend as well if the match felt right. If you have a quiet home and a big heart for the shy ones, Tiptoe might be your girl. 🐾*Tiptoe is thought to be a Lynx Point Siamese mix, but has not been tested.*___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
