Story
Ash is a big beautiful boy who loves to cuddle. He came to Cameron Animal Hospital with his sister Nova. They arrived scared and traumatized by the change, but with time and care they are doing wonderfully, and are now ready to find their forever homes. Ash may look big and brave, but this sensitive boy is often scared of new places and people, and needs a little bit of time to adjust. Once he is comfortable he is friendly, sweet, and incredibly affectionate. He loves to be cuddled and held, and is excellent with other animals. Ash is generally healthy, but he does require prescription food to prevent urinary crystals. This is a lifelong, strict requirement- he cannot eat any other food or treats. He is FeLV/FIV (-/-); has been fecal tested and prophylactically dewormed; has received a full series of FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines; and is neutered and microchipped. Ash and Nova get along well and can be adopted together; but they are not highly bonded and can be adopted separately. Ash has not been tested with dogs. He is good with children, but due to his nervousness in new situations, young hyper children are not a good fit. More than anything, Ash wants a family who will cuddle him and give him time and attention. Email CAHadoptions@gmail.com for more information.

Story
Nova has the most striking blue eyes we have ever seen. She came to Cameron Animal Hospital with her brother Ash. They arrived scared and traumatized by the change, but with time and care they are doing wonderfully, and are now ready to find their forever homes. Nova may look brave, and is initially more outgoing than her brother, but she is equally sensitive and nervous, and is often scared of new places and people, and needs a little bit of time to adjust. Once she is comfortable she is friendly, sweet, and incredibly affectionate. Although she doesn't like being held like her brother does, she loves being pet and getting attention. Nova is generally healthy, and does not have the same food requirements as her brother does. She is FeLV/FIV (-/-); has been fecal tested and prophylactically dewormed; has received a full series of FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines; and is spayed and microchipped. Ash and Nova get along well and can be adopted together; but they are not highly bonded and can be adopted separately. Nova likes her brother, but does not like other animals as much (either cats or dogs). She has not been tested with young children. More than anything, Nova, like her brother, wants a family who will cuddle her and give her time and attention. Email CAHadoptions@gmail.com for more information.

Story
BooBoo and Robin have had a tough time. These senior boys came to Cameron Animal Rescue after their long-time owner passed away and they were surrendered to the city shelter. They struggled at the shelter, shell-shocked from the sudden, huge, change in their lives. Fortunately the shelter staff reached out and arranged to transfer them to CAH. Since at Cameron Animal Rescue they have received much-needed medical care, including dentistries., and over time they have begun to relax and show their true sweet personalities. They are now ready to find their final forever home. BooBoo is the senior of the pair at an estimated 17 years old. He is the braver of the two, and loves attention and petting. He is the first to make himself comfortable and seek attention. He is a calm boy who loves to cuddle- either with a person or with Robin. He had several extractions with his dentistry, and often sticks his tongue out. He is thin due to stress and age, but is starting to each much better. He is otherwise completely healthy. BooBoo and Robin have both been FeLV/FIV tested and are negative; they have received their full series of FVRCP (feline distmper) and Rabies vaccines; they have been fecal tested and prohpylactically dewormed; they have been tested for feline bartonella; they have had fulll bloodwork, which was all normal. BooBoo and Robin are bonded and have rellied on one another through all of the transitions in their lives; they must be adopted together. BooBoo isn't easily scared, but Robin is scared of loud or sudden noises. Therefore a family with young children or young pets would not be a good fit. They would thrive in a quiet home with a patient family who gives them the time they need to settle in. Email CAHAdoptions@gmail.com for more information.

Since at Cameron Animal Rescue they have received much-needed medical care, including dentistries, and over time they have begun to relax and show their true sweet personalities. They are now ready to find their final forever home. Robin is the younger brother; he is approximately 12 years old. Robin is shyer, and not as brave as his brother, and has struggled the most with the changes. New places, new people, and loud/unexpected noises make him nervous, and he takes some time to settle in. However, once he's comfortable, he is a chatty, affectionate fellow who doesn't hesitate to demand what he wants. He loves to cudle with his brother, and loves petting and attenion from people once he trusts you. Like BooBoo he has lost weight due to the stress of changes, but he is slowly regaining and is eating well. He has taken a particular liking to TikiCat mousse foods. Story
Bianca is the white kitten, around 8-10 weeks old. Bianca is fearless! She loves to explore, snuggle up on a warm blanket...that is, when she's not playing, which is what she does 90% of the day! Bianca loves to play and pounce on Damon and finds his tail a delightful toy to play with. She is a happy little kitty, friendly, and loves to greet new people, but also independent and will go off on her own adventure. Bianca is difficult to get a still picture of because she is always moving! (hence the first picture) Bianca is not spayed yet.

Story
Whole Grain Granola is the sweetest little lady I’ve had the pleasure to foster! She will sit near you and on you as much as you allow her, as my roommate likes to call her, she’s a velcro cat. She just wants to be near you and snuggling! She loves having her chin scratched and gentle pets on her body. She loves pate because she only has two or three little teeth. She has never bitten me or my roommate because she’s too sweet. She would love a forever home with a family who loves to cuddle and nuzzle her face all the time. She’s not a needy kitty, she’s just insanely loving. This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home. This cat is FIV+ and will live a normal healthy and long life when provided with quality care such as a balanced diet and yearly wellness exams (like any cat). As FIV+ is not transmittable between neutered/spayed cats under normal circumstances, we are happy for FIV+ cats to mingle with FIV- cats in their adoptive homes. This cat has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and would benefit from an echocardiogram -- we would appreciate it if their potential adopter could help us cover this cost in lieu of an adoption donation.November 5, 2024, 3:41 pm
