Story
Minky is a 6 year old Flame Point Siamese, his birthday is mid-May. He grew up in a household with one small dog and one large dog. He was re-homed with me when he was 4 years old because his family had adopted an 8 year old and he was not doing well with it. When living with me he had two cat brothers. He got along with the smaller cat better because of his anxiety. He does not do well with change. Any relocation or the addition of new characters to the household. He will act sweet for the first 24 hours of change and then he does freak out a bit. He does hiss, but he has never bitten or scratched me, apart from love nibbles. What works best is to have a specific spot for him, whether it’s a large kennel (which I can provide for you to take) or a spare room. He needs a safe space to calm down. He is litter box trained, however he needs it to be cleaned daily like clockwork. Only re-homing because I am in an unsafe home environment and need to leave. He loves feliway and catnip!

Story
Meiling’s story is one that lingers with you long after you’ve heard it. When she first arrived in September, she was heartbreakingly thin—barely 4 pounds, all delicate bones and uncertainty. No one knew if she’d pull through. But Mei surprised us all. With the steady care of her foster family, she’s bounced back, steadily gaining weight and confidence until she reached a healthy 7 pounds. She’s still got some physical reminders from those hard days—her balance isn’t perfect, and she can be a little unsteady when she moves too quickly—but her gentle spirit shines through. Mei is searching for a quiet, predictable home where calm is the norm. Noisy environments or rambunctious kids stress her out, so she needs a space where she can relax. She’s comfortable around dogs and male cats, but she’s not one to chase toys or get into mischief—she prefers to observe from a soft, sunny perch. Wrestling matches and rough play aren’t her thing; what she loves most is simply being nearby, soaking up the comfort of family life. While in foster care, Mei started having bouts of vomiting. After seeing a specialist, she was diagnosed with Feline Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)—a chronic condition that can cause stomach problems like vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, and poor appetite. To keep her healthy, she’s now on a special prescription diet that she’ll need for the rest of her life. It’s not a diet that can be changed or skipped—any deviation could trigger a flare-up. Her food is a bit pricier than average, so her adopter will need to be prepared for that responsibility. Mei is ready for her next chapter. With time, patience, and a loving home, she’ll continue to flourish. If you’re looking for a sweet companion and you have room in your heart (and the budget for her special diet), Mei might be the perfect fit. If you think you’re the one, we’d love for you to apply.

Story
We were contacted about this beautiful friendly boy that showed up at a feral colony that was being fed. He was too nice to leave outside. We took him in and after 30 plus days of quarantine, we tested him for fiv/felv. The test showed a very faint positive for leukemia so we ran an additional test - here is what the report said: "These quantitative results are below 1.0x10^6 copies/mL and consistent with a regressive FeLV infection. Regressive FeLV infections are associated with lower levels of proviral DNA in circulating blood cells and lower amounts of FeLV p27 antigen in circulation. Cats with regressive infections are less likely to be infectious to other cats or to be sick due to an FeLV-associated disease. Cats with regressive infections may transmit FeLV by blood transfusion even if antigen negative. Cats with regressive infection may remain nonclinical or may revert to progressive infection in association with immunosuppression, stress or concurrent disease. Regressively infected cats may mount a sufficient immune response to eventually become PCR and/or antigen negative." SOOOO- he is in a room by himself. We have him on a couple of supplements so hopefully he can fight off the leukemia. He is just so darn nice! He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and otherwise very healthy. Care to give this special boy a chance? He should be an only cat until we can retest in a few months.... Adoption fee $60. Born likely spring of 2024. Story
Moonshine is one cool cat.  He was living outside on the east side of town, but his caretaker moved to Texas and could not take him with her other pets.  She contacted us and we took him in - this was back in 2021. He was adopted out but came back to us recently - his owner had lost her job and sadly could not keep him. Moonshine is affectionate and very social.  He knows no strangers!  He settled right in at his foster home - great with other cats! He will roll around in front of you and he LOVES being cradled like a baby.  Moonshine adores dry food but doesn't like wet food....making him super easy to care for! He was likely born fall of 2019....has beautiful blue eyes, and is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv.  Adoption fee $60. Story
PLEASE READ TO SEE IF YOU ARE THAT SPECIAL SOMEONE WITH A BIG &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 . Talia is a beautiful lynx point Siamese that was living outside.  She was trapped and fixed, but she was way too friendly to put back outside.  Talia is an absolute love bug and super affectionate. She has the sweetest  personality.. She’s like the perfect cat you always wanted ..  She loves her chin scratches and has the most beautiful markings and blue eyes.  Talia is a very calm, loving Cat that just wants a loving quiet home.  She loves her playtime with her cat toys, climbing on her cat tree and looking out the window at the birds .   Unfortunately, Talia  tested positive for feline leukemia but we have her on a supplement to help her have a healthy life as long as possible. She would need to be the only cat in the household as leukemia is contagious to other cats. If you’re looking for just one cat and a gorgeous Siamese that has the best personality in the world she is your girl.  She is fully vaccinated , spayed and tested negative for FIV and microchipped . Born around October of 2024. She would not do good with young children or dogs . If you want to be that SPECIAL SOMEONE WITH A BIG &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 to give this sweet,  loving,  little girl a chance at a wonderful forever, loving home .
