Abner is a sweet, very quiet boy in his foster mom's home. She describes him as "shy about the world" ... big things can be scary, and changes can be terrifying! But we've seen moments when Abner was comfortable and let his guard down, and a wonderful loving boy came out, allowing for snuggles and love. We're guessing the big kitty personalities of his foster siblings are a bit much for him at times, which is why we think a quieter home with just a few people and maybe a couple gentle kitty friends will be the best fit for sweet Abner's forever home. Abner was initially part of a TNR ("Trap Neuter Return") program, but the vet providing the neuter recognized the soft personality and sweet nature of this charming boy, and asked for help finding him a safe, loving home. Please note, early in life Abner required a tail amputation, leaving him with a very short tail. The vet does not expect any issues with it. Abner is estimated at just over 1 year old.
