Story
Meiling’s story is one that lingers with you long after you’ve heard it. When she first arrived in September, she was heartbreakingly thin—barely 4 pounds, all delicate bones and uncertainty. No one knew if she’d pull through. But Mei surprised us all. With the steady care of her foster family, she’s bounced back, steadily gaining weight and confidence until she reached a healthy 7 pounds. She’s still got some physical reminders from those hard days—her balance isn’t perfect, and she can be a little unsteady when she moves too quickly—but her gentle spirit shines through. Mei is searching for a quiet, predictable home where calm is the norm. Noisy environments or rambunctious kids stress her out, so she needs a space where she can relax. She’s comfortable around dogs and male cats, but she’s not one to chase toys or get into mischief—she prefers to observe from a soft, sunny perch. Wrestling matches and rough play aren’t her thing; what she loves most is simply being nearby, soaking up the comfort of family life. While in foster care, Mei started having bouts of vomiting. After seeing a specialist, she was diagnosed with Feline Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)—a chronic condition that can cause stomach problems like vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, and poor appetite. To keep her healthy, she’s now on a special prescription diet that she’ll need for the rest of her life. It’s not a diet that can be changed or skipped—any deviation could trigger a flare-up. Her food is a bit pricier than average, so her adopter will need to be prepared for that responsibility. Mei is ready for her next chapter. With time, patience, and a loving home, she’ll continue to flourish. If you’re looking for a sweet companion and you have room in your heart (and the budget for her special diet), Mei might be the perfect fit. If you think you’re the one, we’d love for you to apply.

Story
*COURTESY POST* This kitty is not being housed with Blue's Mews. For more information or to adopt Sammie, please text Nikki directly at: 419 733 7189 This is Sammie! She's a beautiful Siamese lady who was a stray before being taken in about a year and a half ago by a kind person who offered to help her. According to vet estimates, she's about 3 years old. She was spayed and vaccinated a little over a year ago. Quiet and shy, she is out and about in her foster's house, but she's not a cuddler. Sammie is a quiet companion who may choose to keep you company but won't get in your way. Note, there are other cats and a dog in her foster house but she is not found of them.

Story
This is Blondie, a beautiful female cream point siamese between 1 and 2 years old. She is talkative but a bit shy. She does like to be loved on by her humans, but prefers for it to be on her terms. This little sweetie has been through a lot of changes and turmoil recently, but we suspect she may become more loving and sweet once she has some time to settle into a consistent, patient, and less chaotic environment. Blondie is food-motivated, and will overeat if left to her own devices (golly... that makes two of us...) She's decided she's okay with the puppy in her foster's house, but would really prefer her companion was a bit quieter! Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We were contacted about this beautiful friendly boy that showed up at a feral colony that was being fed. He was too nice to leave outside. We took him in and after 30 plus days of quarantine, we tested him for fiv/felv. The test showed a very faint positive for leukemia so we ran an additional test - here is what the report said: "These quantitative results are below 1.0x10^6 copies/mL and consistent with a regressive FeLV infection. Regressive FeLV infections are associated with lower levels of proviral DNA in circulating blood cells and lower amounts of FeLV p27 antigen in circulation. Cats with regressive infections are less likely to be infectious to other cats or to be sick due to an FeLV-associated disease. Cats with regressive infections may transmit FeLV by blood transfusion even if antigen negative. Cats with regressive infection may remain nonclinical or may revert to progressive infection in association with immunosuppression, stress or concurrent disease. Regressively infected cats may mount a sufficient immune response to eventually become PCR and/or antigen negative." SOOOO- he is in a room by himself. We have him on a couple of supplements so hopefully he can fight off the leukemia. He is just so darn nice! AND he is a bit cross-eyed which is super cute. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and otherwise very healthy. He wants ATTENTION!! Care to give this special boy a chance? He should be an only cat until we can retest in a few months.... Adoption fee $60. Born likely spring of 2024. Here is our application https://www.pfcatrescue.org/adoption-application/April 20, 2026, 6:47 pm
