Story
*** Petfinder Senior Pet Adoption Assistance Grant will cover 6 months of Muppet's arthritis injections and special food!*** Meet Miss Muppet! This sassy, toothless, senior gal is as good as it gets! She came from a really tough situation. A dumped housecat, found freezing and starving in January was luckily found and brought to the city shelter. Weighing in at barely 4lbs, she was a skeleton who needed lots of medical attention and love. The shelter got her all fixed up, and she was scooped up by us to find her forever family! She is a bit grumpy sometimes, but has a one in a million personality and adorableness that makes up for it. She is full of sass! Her pigeon coos for attention and love bites are the best parts of every day. Muppet does not like other animals, and due to her having no teeth she needs to stay on Purina ProPlan Sensitive Skin & Stomach wet food. She gets a monthly injection for arthritis, which has helped her tremendously! Her forever family will need to keep her on her special food and bring her to the vet regularly for her medication.

Story
Meet Mei! This sweet lap-lover is ready to be your best friend. She’s had a short but busy life: found during Hurricane Ida in September of 2021 and brought to Albany, Georgia Humane Society, she got a freedom ride to a local shelter in Lansdale, PA, and was adopted in October 2021. When she was spayed in February of 2022, the vet found a healed-over BB pellet embedded in her side from her previous life in the South, and removed it. Then her adopter passed away in 2023 and the family adopted a new, poorly-behaved kitten, whom she escaped by running away to the outdoors, where she spent the winter of 2023-24 begging and fending on her own. A call to our rescue started a new chapter for this young lady, bringing her back inside, getting medical care and fattening her back up. Now she’s ready to move on to living her best life in her new forever home. She’s a mystery-blend of cat parts; her tiny 7lb body is Manx-shaped with a natural bobtail, but her lynxpoint coat, blue eyes, raspy meow and smart, Velcro personality are all Siamese-type. Estimated to be around 3 years old, this little girl is not telling her secrets. She does have a lot to say, and wants to cuddle on your lap and purr all day. She plays with toys, loves chin scratches and is not willing to share with another cat. She doesn’t like her bunny-tail or belly played with, and if you do, she gives very gentle nip reminders; so a home with older children or adults is preferred. Her tolerance for dogs is unknown, but likely she would prefer not, jealous girl that she is. Due to her history she could be an escape risk and a home where she can be prevented from getting outside again is best. She deserves only the best pampered indoor life from now on.

Story
In the realm of feline companions, Walter stands as a prince among cats. This 8-year-old Siamese mix, with his plush coat and wise blue eyes, embodies love and companionship. Walter's journey began in the South, leading him to Pennsylvania after his original owner couldn't keep him. Despite a rocky start, he remains a dignified, playful gentleman with an extraordinary capacity for affection. Walter takes his hyperthyroidism medication like a champ and recently had a dental procedure, thanks to a generous donor. Walter isn't just a cat; he's a bundle of purring love who makes everyone feel special. He communicates with charming chirps, greets you with bright eyes, and crafts air biscuits as tokens of his affection. Now, in the prime of his life, Walter seeks a forever home where he can reign supreme as a cherished family member. He offers more than companionship; he brings loyalty and love that enrich every moment. If you're looking for a friend and confidant to transform your house into a home, Walter is waiting for you.

Story
Grayson is a very sweet and loving cat who likes to be pet but is also a bit quirky, like so many of his breed. His estimated date of birth is April 28, 2017. He gets along with other cats, but a slow and patient introduction is needed for any new companions. He would love to be an only cat with people who will provide toys and engage in interactive play with him as he's too rough with other cats in play. He also features that charming “chirp” that Siamese cats are so known for. Grayson was found outside in April 2023. He has been neutered, had his mouth repaired (a broken tooth and some scratches to the face), has tested negative, and is up to date on his care and shots. He has lost a few teeth, and toothpaste was recommended for his ongoing care. He licks his special toothpaste happily a few times a week and just loves it—that’s all it takes! Because Grayson plays hard he has been known to nip playfully (never hard), so is not recommended for a home with very young children for the safety of all. Please note: a higher than usual adoption fee will be charged for this cat, and only local adopters from the Delaware Valley will be considered.  To learn more about Grayson and other pets available for adoption, and to download an adoption application, please visit www.animalfriendsoflansdowne.org. Story
Meet Felix! This reserved boy is estimated to have been born in the winter of 2020 and is seeking his forever home. He's neutered, tested negative, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to settle in to a good life with you. Felix enjoys the company of other cats and loves to receive pets and attention. We are unsure as to how he would do with dogs or children due to lack of exposure but may be fine with both provided a slow introduction was made. Please note: a higher than usual adoption fee will be charged for this cat, and only local adopters from the Delaware Valley will be considered.
