Ken is a handsome lilac-pt Siamese Snowshoe mix male about 1 year old (DOB about 7/1/25).  He was brought to a local veterinarian by someone who apparently found him and thought he needed to be humanely euthanized. He was extremely emaciated and dehydrated and appeared to have an injured paw. The doctor thought she could get him healthy again and asked the Stray Connection to sponsor his recovery and routine vetting.  He is doing well now and is ready for a new home. He does still limp a bit but has had physical therapy that helped. He is initially a bit cautious of people (and probably rightly so,  given his story), but he warms up super fast. He should do well with cats, older children, and nice dogs. Ken is negative for feline leukemia and aids, current on his distemper had his first distemper vaccine, been wormed, treated for fleas, vet checked and neutered.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 (land line) or hhfrey1@tds.net  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. The majority of our cats and kittens come from high kill shelters. Through our application and interview process, we strive to make the 'purrfect' match to insure a loving, lifelong home for those in our care. We do NOT receive funding from any national organization, federal or state governments.October 11, 2026, 2:49 pm

At just 2 months old, Lotus is a gorgeous Siamese mix Snowshoe girl who is already winning hearts everywhere she goes! Her unique coloring is absolutely beautiful, but it's her sweet, loving personality that truly makes her special. Lotus is friendly, happy, social, and incredibly affectionate. She loves being around people and is the kind of little girl who will happily become part of whatever her family is doing. She has all the playful, silly kitten energy you could hope for, along with a sweet nature that makes her irresistible! Because kittens thrive when they have a feline friend to grow up with, Lotus would do best being adopted with another kitten or into a loving home with a friendly cat. Meet Zen, a two-month-old Siamese Snowshoe mix who is as special on the inside as he is stunning on the outside. With his beautiful Siamese coloring and unique Snowshoe pattern, Zen is truly a little work of art-and his gorgeous looks are only the beginning! Zen came to rescue from a very difficult situation, and the fact that this precious little boy survived is nothing short of fortunate. Despite the challenges he faced so early in life, Zen has emerged as a sweet, happy, funny, playful, and incredibly social kitten who absolutely loves life. He is ready to leave his difficult past behind and begin the next chapter of his life with a family who will cherish him. Zen would love a feline friend to share his adventures with, so he needs to be adopted with another kitten or into a home with a sweet, friendly cat. This beautiful little survivor has so much love and happiness ahead of him. Zen is ready to find the forever family he was so lucky to survive for.

Magnolia Magnolia is a beautiful Siamese mix with a playful personality and a serious love of toys! She has yet to meet a toy she doesn’t like and is always ready for her next play session or a treat. Whether it’s chasing, pouncing, batting, or exploring, Magnolia is happiest when there is something fun to keep her busy. Give her a toy and you may just become her new best friend! Magnolia and her sister, Jolene, were born around June 25. Both girls are sweet but can be a little shy while getting to know new people and new surroundings. They are still building their confidence and would benefit from a patient, loving home willing to give them a little time to settle in and let their personalities shine. Magnolia and Jolene have grown up together and would make a wonderful pair. They enjoy having each other for companionship and playtime, and adopting them together would allow these two sisters to continue their journey side by side.  Visit the SARG, Inc. website for more information about our policies, events, and to submit an online application for one of our animals: https://www.shelteranimalsrescue.org.September 30, 2026, 11:01 pm
