Story
Meet Apollo! His estimated DOB is 3/16/25. He does well with other cats. Apollo is currently with a foster in Tacoma From his foster: Meet a charming and independent boy who’s just waiting for the right person to help him shine. He may be a bit standoffish at first and isn’t a fan of being held, but once he feels comfortable, he’ll happily settle in for pets and reward you with the sweetest purrs. He’s fully litter trained and gets along wonderfully with other cats—in fact, he really thrives with feline companionship. He loves playing and wrestling with his cat friends (pipe cleaners are a favorite!), and you’ll often find him perched up high on his cat tower, keeping a watchful eye on his kingdom. This handsome guy will need a patient and understanding home that’s willing to give him the time and attention he deserves to come out of his shell. While he’s still building confidence with people, he has so much potential to grow into a loyal and loving companion with the right guidance. He’d do especially well in a calm home with another friendly cat and an adopter who sees the beauty in earning a shy cat’s trust. If you’re willing to invest a little extra love and patience, you’ll be rewarded with a truly special bond. To adopt: casadog.org/cats

Story
Meet Mateo! His estimated DOB is July 2025. He does well with dogs and other cats. Mateo is currently with a foster in Kirkland From his foster: Mateo was one of 3 cats rescued from the streets in very bad condition. As he has been fostered, he has also healed and become stronger. He is very playful and is living with other cats. He has been exposed to dogs and has been fine with them. He is ready for a cozy forever home! Of note, when Mateo was found he had a bad injury by his left eye. It has since healed and Mateo has no long-term effects. To adopt: casadog.org/cats

Story
Meet Lotus-The Gentle Soul! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Lotus is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Lotus is a beautiful Siamese girl with a very sensitive heart. The world can feel like a big, scary place to her, so she's looking for a calm, quiet home where she can truly feel safe. She may be shy and fearful at first, but beneath that nervous exterior is a very sweet, loving cat. When given time, patience, and gentle one-on-one attention, Lotus blossoms-leaning into soft scratches and soaking up affection from someone she trusts. Lotus would do best with: -A quiet, low-traffic home -A patient adopter who will let her adjust at her own pace -Minimal noise and few sudden changes Lotus is ~2.5 years old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! We believe slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think she could learn to love a new dog friend. If you have a peaceful home and a kind heart, Lotus might be your perfect companion --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
