Story
Meet Apollo! His estimated DOB is 3/16/25. He does well with other cats. Apollo is currently with a foster in Tacoma From his foster: Meet a charming and independent boy who’s just waiting for the right person to help him shine. He may be a bit standoffish at first and isn’t a fan of being held, but once he feels comfortable, he’ll happily settle in for pets and reward you with the sweetest purrs. He’s fully litter trained and gets along wonderfully with other cats—in fact, he really thrives with feline companionship. He loves playing and wrestling with his cat friends (pipe cleaners are a favorite!), and you’ll often find him perched up high on his cat tower, keeping a watchful eye on his kingdom. This handsome guy will need a patient and understanding home that’s willing to give him the time and attention he deserves to come out of his shell. While he’s still building confidence with people, he has so much potential to grow into a loyal and loving companion with the right guidance. He’d do especially well in a calm home with another friendly cat and an adopter who sees the beauty in earning a shy cat’s trust. If you’re willing to invest a little extra love and patience, you’ll be rewarded with a truly special bond. To adopt: casadog.org/cats

Story
Hello! This little fella is Lunchbox. He's about 3.5 years old.I am looking to rehome Lunchbox as I am moving away for college and am unable to afford his continued care while going to school full time.Lunchbox at this time is starting a prescribed high fiber diet due to a few recent tummy problems. He's doing okay, his stools are just a bit soft at the moment. He is a lazy bones cat who loves to nap and hang out in your presence. He is not much a cuddler, but enjoys the occasional gentle pets and loving. (Especially under the chin!)He is very food motivated and will let you know it by trying to eat everything in the house. It is very important that you make sure to put your food (and trash) in a secure location. He has a history of eating hairties/strings so be cautious! When I first adopted Lunchbox, he was adopted from the Seattle Humane Society at about 1 yrs old. He has a metal plate in one of his back legs as he was initially brought in as a stray who was found injured under a car.

Story
Meet Sake! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Sake is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Sake is a beautiful Siamese girl with the gentlest soul. She's incredibly sweet and has a calm, quiet nature that makes her a peaceful presence in any home. Sake can be a bit shy at first and will need a patient adopter who understands that she may take some time to keel safe and comfortable. But once she settles in, her loving personality truly shines through. She would do best in a calm environment where she can adjust at her own pace and build trust with her people. If you're looking for a soft, sweet companion who will reward your patience with quiet affection, Sake could be the perfect fit for you. Sake is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! She does well with kids and other cats in the foster home. Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
