Story
Ghost-Siamese male, ~ 5 yr. (March 2026) Special Needs Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Ghost came to Rescue when found as a stray. He was at a Vet Clinic for a check up and the owner could never be found. The Vet Clinic asked the Humane Society/Rescue to help him find a home that will understand his special needs Ghost is about 5 years old, came to us with a broken leg that has healed enough that surgery is NOT his best option at this point. He walks just fine may have some arthritis later. He is SPECIAL NEEDS for that reason and this too: Ghost has Feline Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex (EGC) which is a set of common, often allergy-driven skin diseases in cats, characterized by inflammatory, itchy lesions like ulcers or bumps, typically on the lips, mouth, or thighs. It is usually triggered by immune system reactions to fleas, food, or environmental allergens. Treatment, including steroids, antibiotics, and allergy management, usually results in a good prognosis. His EGC is well managed with periodic antibiotic and steroid shots so that is a must for any potential adopter. It is not a terribly expensive regimen but must be monitored an addressed as he needs. Ghost is sweet and loving, loves attention and gets a bit crossed eyed in his delight/pleasure when you caress him. He is playful and snugly. He's accustomed to cats and dogs but a quieter home where he can be center of attention is likely best. Ghost's adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Please include your location and a phone number for future communication.

and has been microchipped.       Meet Sandy! Sandy is a beautiful 7-year-old Siamese Snowshoe whose gentle spirit and loving heart are simply impossible to resist. With her striking features and sweet, affectionate nature, this stunning girl is ready to find the forever home she so deserves. Her Story ➡️ Sandy's journey to Fancy Cats is one that tugs at the heartstrings. When her beloved owner passed away, Sandy and her siblings were surrendered to a partner shelter after their remaining caretaker was unable to continue caring for them. Though her story has a sad beginning, one thing is beautifully clear — Sandy was deeply and unconditionally loved in her previous home, and it shows in every gentle purr and every tender nuzzle she offers. Her Personality ✨ Sandy is the embodiment of grace and sweetness. Years of being cherished and adored have shaped her into the most gentle, trusting, and affectionate companion. She is the kind of cat who: Loves to cuddle and soak up every ounce of affection Is gentle and soft-natured with everyone she meets Feels most at home when surrounded by love and warmth Would make a wonderful family cat for the right home Her Health & Care ✅ Sandy arrives fully prepared for her new chapter: ✅ Spayed ✅ Current on all vaccines ✅ Tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV ✅ Microchipped and ready to go Why Sandy? She is ready to walk into your home and your heart and pick up right where she left off — being cherished, loved, and adored. Give Sandy Her Happy Ending This sweet girl has already weathered loss and uncertainty with quiet dignity and grace. Now it is her turn to be wrapped in warmth and love once again. Story
Say hello to Mallory! This extra chunky girl was adopted from us in 2022 and unfortunately returned when her owner could no longer care for her. Ms. Mallory was not the happiest returning to us and has had some difficulty adjusting to being here at the shelter. She is a little bit of a sassy girl and definitely makes it known when she is not in the mood for attention, but has generally been a little sweeter on our adoption floor! In fact, as she is so chubby and in need of some extra pounds off her, she is currently free roaming in our adoption building and making friends with staff and volunteers. Mallory has been excited to come up to visitors and will give a little meow even if she is not interested in getting a pet at that time. When she is in the mood for attention, though, she will happily rub against your legs and even your hand when she would like some scratches and pets. Mallory is not the biggest fan of having four paws off the ground but we do believe some of that is due to her size. This lady will need a dedicated and patient owner who will commit time to her care and diet. At this time, Mallory is still not able to clean her back end as well as she should be able to, and does need cleaned up occasionally if it is getting messy back there. She does also have a tendency to get a little matted in her hard to reach places and enjoys a good brushing. She would do best as the only kitty in her forever home and wants to be the princess of her home! Mallory is not good with dogs and does attempt to attack them when they enter her space. Mallory would do best in a home with children who will be respectful of her space and understand that she will need time to relax on her own. Stop in and visit Mallory if she is the kitty for you! Mallory is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Story
I am a shy gorgeous siamese mix that came to the shelter as a stray with my single kitten. While I can be a little aloof I enjoy petting and enjoy the company of other cats. Won't you give me a home where I can blossom into the loving cat that I know I can be.
